Good enough for a very short stay
Pros:

Plusses:

Very friendly, helpful and polite staff.

You can order simple meals at the hotel – nothing special, but useful if you are hungry and it’s too late to go out.

Drinking water is always available for purchase at the hotel.

Good location: close to the center, shops and station.

Private and quite spacious hotel parking.

Air conditioning.

Plenty of power outlets in the room.

Internet is very unstable: sometimes unavailable for several hours, and after 21:30 often not working at all.

Bathroom is in poor condition: the bidet water has a rotten smell (like stagnant water, clearly unhygienic); the taps have almost no water pressure, the drain was badly clogged, and hot water in the shower lasts only about 5 minutes – just enough to wash either your hair or your body, but not both.


Ants are everywhere – in the shower, toilet and bedroom. They don’t bite, but you often find them on your body, while sleeping, brushing your teeth or after a shower.


Other minor things (not critical for this low-budget price):

No fridge, no toilet paper, no kettle, no hairdryer.

Many gaps in the house, so insects (mosquitoes) and geckos can easily enter.

No option to order a taxi from the hotel.

Tip: Make sure to buy a local SIM card. With such an unstable WiFi and no taxi service, it can be difficult to manage anything without your own internet.

Conclusion: For 1–2 nights, if nothing else is affordable or available, this hotel can be a good option. For a longer stay – better not. Although, maybe other rooms were better, dunno.

A nice place to stay in the Suka Bumi area :)
Pros:

Simple clean Indonesian accommodation. Firm beds, which I like, good air con, clean and simple bathroom with good hot water. Friendly staff.

It's nicely tucked away, which is perfect if you want to escape the traffic.

I was given a VIP room, which was basically set up like a hotel room in the rear of the compound.

Lovely accommodation in a private area of the city.
Pros:

This is hands-down one of the best places I've stayed at in a long time. The staff here are wonderfully friendly and helpful, and they go to great lengths to make sure that guests enjoy their stay.

Cons:

I would have liked a bedsheet together with my blanket.

A bedside light would have been nice.

Exceptional
Pros:

The staff were incredibly helpful. There was one guy and one girl in reception who seriously went above and beyond. The owner is lucky to have them working there because they do an incredible job

Cons:

The shower heater was a little problematic but the staff were very accommodating to help.

Cons:

Did not make up room after 1st night
Our bed had no blanket or dooner? Second room had dooners. Beds not made up properly and inconsistent across three rooms I rented. Had to ask for bedding
