Decent and comfortable hotel in downtown Indianapolis
Pros:

Functional and quiet room with a decent amount of space. Bed was comfortable as were the pillows. Bathroom is also functional and well appointed. We liked that the AC was not too loud. Hotel is conveniently located a stone's throw from the convention center and the capitol in the downtown area, within walking distance from restaurants and bars.

Cons:

Not much to dislike other than perhaps having the blinds not closing completely thus letting some daylight in the room early in the morning.

Sentimental for me and The Eagles Nest

Cons:

Check in employee not especially friendly and the rooms need an overhaul. Put more than 4 wafer thin pillows on a king bed too.

We had a wonderful experience

Komfortables Hotel in ausgezeichneter Lage und mit sehr freundlichem Personal
Pros:

Personal stets freundlich, hilfsbereit, geduldig. Z.B. wurden Rehenschirme bei dem aufziehenden Thunderstorm zur Verfügung gestellt. Die Ausstattung ist sehr komfortabel. In der geräimigen Hotelhalle gibt es verschiedene Einrichtungen, die man nutzen kann. Die Lage ist ausgezeichnet mit Zugang zu zahlreichen Restaurants, Sport-Bars, Country und Jazz Musik in der Umgebung.

Cons:

Die Parkgebühren sind sehr hoch, aber das scheint allgemein so zu sein.

There are many other hotels in the area all next to each other. I suggest trying a different one.
Cons:

I have never written a review before. But this time I have too. The staff at the front desk were rude. I made a mistake on my booking and booked it twice somehow and when I checked in the front desk manager said they will take care of it. They didn't. Next morning I went down there and explained again what happened to the new front desk manager and she took my explanation as me being rude when all I wanted is for it to be corrected and not just say it will be done. She said it wasn't her job to correct the mistake that I made. I already talked to booking about it and they sent a email to them yesterday and all they had to do was respond to the email. Finally much later that day I finally received a email that is was corrected and my account will be credited. As for they stay the A/C wasn't working properly and they came to fix it and it cooled for about 1 hour and then it got warm again in the room. So I called again at 10:30pm and they came again. They said they disconnected something to keep it from overriding the cooling system so it would stay on and cool which it did. The wallpaper on the walls were peeling off also. So on checkout the next day I told them about the ac again to make sure that they take care of it for the next guest. All that was said is I will let them know. The front staff is not trained properly. All of the street in front of the hotel is under construction very hard to pull in and get to the underground parking. On arrival the valet there said it is $70 a day so 3 days would have been $210 for valet parking and when I asked where self park is they told me but said that there were issue with the gates getting stuck. We decided to self park and is was $45 a day. We were there 3 days and didn't use our car because everything was in walking distance. So total was only $45 for the 3 days. Guess what, the gate didn't get stuck.
