The location
Seriously outdated and the 2 reception staff we saw lacked customer service skills
Room was lovely and helped elevate my holiday experience especially with the good weather. Breakfast was lovely every morning and location was really easy to get to from the train station and to the beach.
N/A
Location superb / that is why we booked it Husband recently had a hip replacement so limited mobility
Breakfast superb/ Top Notch until day 2 Coffee in flask cold
Why didnt you promote your evening meals ? Perhaps an A frame with TONIGHTS MENU as you entered the breakfast room
Sad but everywhere except the dining room a little tired This seemed to affect some of the staff (reception was great at all times) Have been visiting Exmouth for over 75 years We so thing it has always been undersold
Paying for car Park !!
Why not hide in overall cost of accommodation ? Gives such bad vibes
Best location for views and central location
Good car parking, spacious room, friendly staff.
Lovely location,we have stayed before and staff always helpful. Plenty of parking.
We booked a twin room number 3 ,not realising it was on the lower level.Rust around Bath handel and sink pipes .It felt very damp as well.Shower curtain lost fixing. There was a portable heater that we put on.It was lovely weather so I don't think it would be good out of season. It was expensive for 2 nights.
We usually stay in the big bay window room with sea view.So we were disappointed. Peak season I suppose.Still think overpriced.
Lovely grounds and old building but really up together.
Nothing to dislike
Great staff, great location. Bonus being able to park.
Could feel the springs in the mattresses so didn't sleep very well. Although there was a lift you strangely have to go up a couple of stairs and then back down a flight of stairs to get to your room.
The location
The lift was slow and dated, the window did not stay open unless you used a wooden block to rest it on that was left on the window sill, the television needed updating and was strangely positioned behind the tele. The externals of the building are in need of updating along with the rooms
Nice size room in great location
The hotel is dated and needs reinvestment. The towel rail in the bathroom was in a dangerous condition,Material was peeling off on the bedbase.
The location
Really tired looking hotel, I paid extra for the superior room and it looked like a standard room very disappointed and would not recommend.
