Room shower all good, arrived too early and 2pm check in feom 10am wait
TV did not work
Room way to hot
Noisey road (front of hotel).
Pillows hard
Mugs in the room were dirty and had to be replaced. Not a good look on a premium hotel.
The facilities were great and surprised at how great the food at the hotel was. There were issues getting checked in early and even on time at the hotel but the manager Girish was a great host and tried to make amends, when he didn’t have to.
The check in was horrendous. Staff with saw us with kids and refused early check in from 10am arrival. Made us wait until 3pm by which time there was a queue but they don’t even bother to get us in first. However this was the only bad issue, everything else was perfect.
Very friendly staff
The position is in close walking distance to city centre, public transport and local amenities.
The Front of House staff at the reception were fantastic and extremly friendly and more than capable of doing their job, they were delightful to deal with.
The Food and Beverage side was a BIG let down. You could see the floor staff were improperly trained, ie not knowing what certain products were, lacking SOPs, managers/supervisors clearly breaking SOPs for favourited clientele in clear view of others. FnB supervisors being rude and curt to several clientele during breakfast and lunch service, as if serving them was bothersome, and not giving them information as to where the buffet was situated (had to look to find it myself).
I would also expect a full kitchen service breakfast for a four star hotel, not just buffet.
There was a lot of banging of doors throughout the night
Location was good and rooms were large and spacious, desk was good to work and breakfast was also good especially the pancakes and poached eggs.
When uncovering the bed, I found some hairs and this happened again in one of the towels. Also the socket in the bath was a bit dirty.
Everything it was first class
The beds on wheels, nightmare haha
