Lovely stay, just slight improvement with air con needed
Pros:

The hotel is beautiful, inside and out. Gorgeous decor to a very high standard. The 2 course menu and the breakfast were lovely. Very friendly staff aswell

Cons:

The only issue I had was that the rooms dont have air con. We stayed on possibly one of the hottest days and the room was so stuffy. It had a desk fan but with the tiniest window and warm air, it was quite unbearable at first.

Luckily it cooled down slightly at night but it was still difficult to sleep.

Pleasant
Pros:

Location great for Hampden. Lovely hotel, rooms nice and friendly staff. Food good Would return

Cons:

The beds are terrible in room 3, mattresses far to soft and if you sit on the side they slide of the bed. Need to spend some money on firmer ones

Pros:

Great location

Cons:

The noise, there was a wedding on until 1.00am, when we returned from our night out we could not get a drink at the bar as it was closed and for ticket holders only for the football we were not advised of this nor were we offered to buy tickets, the noise from this continued until about 4am so no sleep very disappointed

It looks great in first light but has a few issues needed to be addressed
Pros:

The staff where friendly and customer focused which is a winner, the room generally was decent and the hotel itself is nice and well presented. Location is suitable for Glasgow and beyond and parking is plenty.

Cons:

The double bed was two single beds pushed together and you could feel the middle gap which made for uncomfortable nights sleep - didn't sleep well and was tired next day after a 8 hr drive up and knowing I had a meeting and then a 8 hr drive back - the Shower tray filled quickly and a lot of water is sprayed into bathroom as shower shield is not suitable. Plus I was missing a door to my bathroom which felt uncomfortable even as a single guest. One extra pointer was the mirror in the bathroom is set back and its hard to focus as feels to far away for basic shaving etc. The breakfast was slow and only had porridge, which honestly was a let down considering I was in Scotland.

Pros:

Lovely environment, liked the outdoor veranda, friendly staff, nice restaurant and bar, very clean rooms and great parking.

Cons:

My only bug bear was the bed, we had a standard double room, 2 single divan beds put together by design and although I thought the bed was comfortable initially, once I'd slept in the bed, me and my partner kept sinking down in the middle, back ache for days afterwards! 🙄
