The Art Gallery Boutique hotel is an oasis of calm in a busy, vibrant area of the city of Durres. It is ideally placed for restaurants, bars and shops, while still within easy walking distance of the beach.
The breakfast is nothing sort of superb, the staff unfailingly friendly, and the rooms as comfortable and well-appointed as they could possibly be.
There was nothing to dislike. It's hard to see what improvements could possibly be made, short of putting a swimming pool on the roof...

Trouble with air condition but management was able to fix quickly
Great location with easy access to sites. The room was comfortable and had a nice view overlooking the ancient amphitheater. Staff was very friendly and helpful with suggestions on places nearby to eat.
L'emplacement est top, le cadre est idéal au centre de Dürres, à proximité des ruines de l'amphithéâtre, le petit-déjeuner est particulièrement bien fourni avec de bons produits (et ceux qui déplorent le manque de variété semblent ne pas comprendre le principe d'un buffet). L'amabilité du personnel, qui est très professionnel. La literie est confortable. Nous avions une sympathique vue sur la mosquée. Que demander de plus ?
Seul point négatif : la douche est à améliorer dans la chambre que j'avais réservée car les portes coulissantes ne sont pas assez proches du sol (l'eau coule donc dans le reste de la salle de bain).

From arriving at the hotel the whole stay was great. The staff on reception were friendly and helped us park the car which was a big help. Nothing was too much trouble and the hotel was very unique and full of character.

The hotel was comfortable, clean, and made me feel right at home. I truly enjoyed my stay and would definitely recommend this hotel to anyone looking for great service and a pleasant experience.
