Disappointing
Pros:

The hotel was easy to access and I liked that it was in a secure section of the main road and in a central location. They were also accommodating with a late check in and an early check out time.

Cons:

The reception staff were accomodating, however it was very hard to communicate in English as most of them had limited English. I mostly had to communicate with the manager to get things across but even that had some miscommunications as they tried to charge me for room service for breakfast multiple days when I only requested for 1 day. Reception rang my room to ask what time I would want breakfast to be served and I asked them to double check if that was part of the booking as I remember being told it wasnt, and they said it was, so I just obliged

They also rang me and my friend multiple times consecutively (4 times) just to ask for my residential address at a time where I couldnt pick up the call. I found it rude to be spamming me calls that many times for something that is not super urgent. They ended up texting me on Whatsapp to and I was able to give them the details that way.

Also, a staff member from their restaurant added me on social media (I dont know how he found my profile) and messaged me which was very unprofessional and inapproriate. I told this to the manager and they were apologetic and advised me they had spoken to the person and dismissed them.

The room was comfy however the sheets had some stains on it which I hope wasnt because it was dirty. The shower drain was clogged and so the water would pool and would drain really slowly.

They also have a function room above and it was always so loud hearing chairs and tables being dragged around 10pm till late at night and I was told it was because theyre cleaning?? I dont understand why they would do that at that time but it was every single night and it felt excessive. Also poor design on the hotel to have a function room right above the guest room floor as you could hear and feel all the movememt upstairs, so that was difficult to ignore especially when I was trying to relax and get some sleep.

Even though it was good value for money, I wont be returning to this hotel.

Top-notch
Pros:

Polite welcoming by receptionist, the room was tastefully furnished, immaculately clean and equipped with everything you may need. We found it very convenient that bus stand and railway station are in a distance of approx. 1 km. A Tuktuk stand is located right opposite of the hotel. We can highly recommend this well maintained accommodation.

Pros:

Good location. Clean rooms and nice staff.

Cons:

This property also has some party hall in the 2nd floor. And we had a stay there on a friday night. It was too noisy and lot of disturbance until 12 at night which made it difficult to sleep.

Pros:

We had a warm welcome by the front office team, they are quite caring and supportive...that made us super comfortable in no time. Further the aesthetics and amenities, most importantly the cleanliness of the room made the stay super pleasant. Hotel is right at the city center, all the good food and shopping centers are accessible in no time. Spl thanks to Booking.com for the recommendation, it's an absolute value for money stay.
