Wonderful experience,great hospitality and surrounded by nature.
Pros:

The owner was very courteous and welcoming. He guided us to a more convenient road to Allepey which saved us miles and time. The owner was very helpful. Despite our short stay at the hotel, we have really enjoyed the natural surroundings of the hotel . We couldn't enjoy the swimming pool ,hopefully next time.

Pros:

The location is good, but room cleanliness and facilities can be improved. Even though it wasn’t the rainy season, the beautiful river behind the villa.
There is also a swimming pool, which I liked the most, but it is not recommended for elders

Cons:

Cleanliness can be improved, as the washrooms and bedsheets were not clean.
Additionally, there is no proper space for car parking. To reach the swimming pool and the river, you have to climb down a steep slope, which is not recommended for elders and kids.

Not fit for elderly people and women and children.
Pros:

Heavily charged. Location is in a steepy gap posing threat. Stair case is ladder type and unsafe. Elderly people can't manage.

Cons:

Except the rooms, the whole premises look shabby and untidy.

Beautiful retreat in a lush environment just off a river with rocks for jumping.
Pros:

Amazing beautiful location, a little far from Munnar which we had initially been trying to see, which was the only reason I rated the location down a little. However, the location itself is worth seeing— it’s beautiful, lush, right by a beautiful river with rocks to run around on. Definitely worth a stay. I was on a retreat with my partner and it was so romantic, and sweet. I was really happy to be there. We were made delicious traditional dishes and were amazing and given salads that were fresh and refreshing I wish I had asked what they were putting on it. Highly recommend.

Cons:

N/a. We wanted to be closer to Munnar, but that’s about it.

Basic homestay with friendly owners and waterfall nearby
Pros:

The father and son owners are so lovely and will help with anything you need! They went out to get food to cook one night when I arrived and was hungry.
Lovely location right next to waterfalls where you can walk.
The room was clean enough.
Warm water, adjustable ceiling fan and good wifi.

Cons:

Curtains are see-through so didn’t feel very private when people walked past the window, and it was a little loud from the street when traffic was passing.
Plenty of hot water however not from the shower, I filled up the bucket to have a wash - not an issue for me but it may be for others.
The food wasn’t to my taste and no menu just what they have available.
I booked the place for the pool but didn’t choose to use it.
Slightly harder bed than I would like.
Not a good location if you don’t have a car as it’s far from the town where the restaurants are.
