Breakfast was very good. Service was very friendly. The facilities were excellent. The indoor and outdoor pools and hot tubs were excellent as well. The lodge dinning was excellent for breakfast, lunch and dinner or just getting a drink. There device staff was most helpful and very friendly.
The mattress or topper was not firm. I felt I was sleeping in a waterbed with valleys. It hurt my back. Stepping into the shower tub that did not have multiple grab bars was slippery and risky. Whenever we turned on the water in the bathroom sink or shower it took up to 3 to 5 minutes for warm and hot water to appear. Instead of having a glass for drinking in the bathroom, I recommend that you provide paper cups to avoid glass breaking. The map was hard to read. The shop for quick food items had a nice selection but closed every day at 3 pm except for Memorial Day weekend. It would have been nicer to to have it open all night like hotels do.
The room was great! Loved finding board games in the drawer and the kitchen had everything we needed. 10/10
Location is good but it’s open to public.
Party events ruined the vacation. If you want to reserve main areas for events please let us know at the time of booking.
Lodge and grounds absolutely beautiful. Staff very nice.
Because we booked through a 3rd party ( Booking.com) we got a studio unit owned by a separate entity than the Lodge. Because of that, Lodge staff was not responsible for cleaning our room. We stayed 4 nights and had to go find our own towels and linens. I also had to find where to deposit our trash. I can make my own bed,but would have appreciated replenishing towels and emptied garbage. If you want housekeeping services, book your room directly through the Lodge, not a 3rd party site. For the price we paid this was very disappointing. The carpet in the room was definitely not clean(my white socks got very dirty just from walking around the room).
Bed was comfortable and towels were nice. No wash cloths provided though.
Lobby decor was lovely.
Our room was next door to loud “facility room”. Very noisy.
Carpet needs to be replaced, bunched up and tripping hazard. Night stands were delaminating due to water spills or moisture? Light bulb was burned out. Bath shower curtain smelled of urine. Bathroom lighting is poor/yellow due to outdated fixtures. Make up mirror helpful but does not light up. Room is tired and need of refurbishing.

Could use a remodel
Location is always pretty, and understand sometimes sacrifice in drive time is acceptable. I've always enjoyed my stays
Limited meal options due to the time of year. The Portal is now Owen’s Breakfast Nook and their buffet was excellent but pricey. Went into the town of Roslyn. The Village Pizza was delicious.
The unit did not fully match the description. The photos and the written description contradicted each other. Strong smell of room freshener upon arrival and on the bedding. The fire alarm at 1am on Sunday morning was disturbing and the Front Desk did not answer my calls.
Very nice unit. Fireplace a plus!
Suncadia resort is really a GREAT place to stay in, with beautiful views, places to hike right from the hotel, and smores in the evening! We had a lot of fun. The room itself was quite comfortable. Restaurant is very good (although pricey). Owner was very responsive and helpful, allowing for early check-in.
The description of the room as "Studio with Mountain View" is somewhat misleading - there's not much view from the room.
We also did not know when booking (we were told before arriving, though) that since this is a privately owned property (not booking directly through suncadia), we won't have access to the indoor pools. For the price we would have taken the room anyway, but it would have been better to know exactly what we're booking.
The dresser had other people clothes in one of the drawer.
It was our first time checking out Suncadia. This room was perfect! Great location - in the main lodge. Easy access to the pool and lodge viewing areas. Room was very clean, very comfortable bed and good selection of pillows including memory foam.
