Pros:

Sehr ruhige Lage, ein sehr gutes Restaurant und sehr freundliches und hilfsbereites Personal.

Für Whisky(e)y-Liebhaber: das Restaurant hat die beste und umfangreichste Auswahl, die ich jemals gesehen habe.

Cons:

An den Ruheragen, bei unserem Aufenthalt war es der Montag, kann der Wellnessbereich nicht genutzt werden.

Een fijne plek om echt tot rust te komen
Pros:

Prachtig gelegen familiehotel met vriendelijke eigenaren. Vanuit onze comfortabele kamer en vanaf ons terras hadden wij mooi uitzicht op het meertje. We hebben forel gegeten, vers uit het meer en heerlijk bereid. Het hotel ligt aan de wandelroute van ca 9 kilometer, een aanrader

Wohlfühlort am Hunsrücksteig
Pros:

Ein wunderbar ruhiger Ort am Ende eines Tals. Komfortables und sehr sauberes Zimmer mit Balkon und Ausblick auf die Teiche. Großartig zum Entspannen und zum Wandern.

Für einen Kurzausflug in die Natur, wie in diesem Fall dem Hundsrück, bestens geeignet.
Pros:

Ausgezeichnete Küche fürs Abendessen. Danach für Whisky - Freunde eine riesige Auswahl, sehr beeindruckend. Eine ruhige und erholsame Lage. Unter dem Strich einen Besuch wert.

Cons:

Bis auf das Bad ist die Zimmerausstattung etwas in die Jahre gekommen. Für das Frühstück sollte man nicht zu spät sein bezüglich Freundlichkeit und Nachlegen, z.B. von Rührei.

Beautiful hideout with some room for improvements
Pros:

Nice and clean room, spacious with a great view over the pond and garden. Good Restaurant and Breakfast. Perfect for hiking or fishing getaways or just some time to calm.

Cons:

Our room on the top floor had no air-conditioning and no shades or blackout curtains, given a visit in summer it was incredibly hot (and bright) in the room until 9pm which was not too great for the kid to get asleep.

I'm overall satisfied with the service from staff, however given their recent upgrade to 4 stars I feel there is some room for improvement in terms of pro activeness, alertness and friendliness. But it certainly still meets or exceeds the regional standard.

That being said I would still consider coming back.

Very Relaxed and Peaceful place. I will come back here.

The restaurant and the location was a 10 and the personal was nice.

We will likely come again.
Pros:

Breakfast buffet was small, but contained enough for every taste. Prices are very fair and the food was awesome. The spa is very tiny, but on the other hand, it was very calm an relaxing. The landscape is purely lovely for hiking.
