Retreat at Crystal Manatee

bathroom was crowded. there are chairs outside rooms I could hear someone talking as i was trying to sleep.
Asked for a reciept and never got one.

I wife drinks decaf coffee there wasn’t any

Wish they could be a little more flexible with checkin time.

No microwave

The room was not functional. No lamps , when you turned on what lights were there, they were extremely bright. Only I mirror. Not a good place to do your makeup and hair, bathroom too small. No place to put anything. Side tables by bed were too small for anything also.

Rooms should have a microwave.

There were 3 main issues. This is not meant as a criticism, but just helpful feedback. (1) the room felt luxurious, but the breakfast room was very basic and like being in a youth hostel. It would be better with several small tables so that people can eat in privacy, rather than crammed next to other guests on a long table. (2) the deluxe rooms are beautiful but they lack many basic, standard items like a coffee maker, wall hooks, etc. (3) there are no bedside lights, so you have to either have the room fully light or fully dark. This makes it impossible for one guest to read in bed at night, while the other one sleeps. It also means if you get up in the night to use the bathroom, you wake up the other person!! This is a major issue - you need to get bedside lights!!

Funny story: We pulled into the parking lot with a Retreat at Crystal Manatee sign. In front of us is a vacant-looking building with a string of rooms. Each room is painted a different bright color with contrasting trim; black sheets are hanging in some of the windows. I look at my husband and say, "I DID NOT BOOK THIS PLACE!" After walking across the street, our real accommodation is revealed, along with a HUGE sigh of relief! The vacant building where we parked was what the property looked like before it was sold. It is worth noting the challenges Retreat at Crystal Manatee has overcome to totally transform the property to its current loveliness.

Maybe have washer dryer available for use by guests.

Sehr weiches, schmales Bett! 1,40m breit für 2 Erwachsene, das soll dann King Size sein? Sehr ungewöhnliche, unpraktische Einrichtung, kühle Atmosphäre des Raumes.
Ein völlig ausgeleiertes Türschloss mit Schlüssel. Frühstücksraum hässlich und kühl, angebotene Speisen auch für amerikanische Verhältnisse sehr mager.
