Make sure what kind of room you will get be for you go .
Pros:

Location is good. Rooms with balcony facing sea side are good . Breakfast is ok with few choices. Staff is kind and helpful.

Cons:

I traveled with my family of 4 ( 11/8/25-13/8/25). The room suggested for us ,through the website was for 76USD. When we reached there the room reserved to us was a very basic one without A/C, with very limited space not acceptable for any family at all. No kattle, no TV (not available in any room i guess )and the room was dark as balcony was facing some trees and roofs of nearby houses. It was nothing like well lit rooms in the photos. It was horrible experiens and my kids were very disapointed and we had no choice as it was late, but to upgrade to sea side room for additional cost of 8000/=(26 USD) for 2 nights than the one we initially reserved. I would suggest all guest travelling with families, should double check the facilities that your room provides after booking through this site ,with the hotel as this institution has bright, well sunlit spacious rooms as well as gloomy little tin cans with more beds and no basic requirements such as a furniture to keep your stuff.....Be careful you may get trapped just like me....

Cons:

I could not settle in this hotel. When I came to them at night after a long road. They did not have a booked number. I asked them to at least cancel the reservation without a fine and went to look for another hotel at 11 o’clock in the evening. But the hotel did not cancel my race and made it as if I had settled. Now they demand money for housing. I do not recommend this hotel!

Polecam ze względu na lokalizację i ludzi. Sam pokój dobry jak za tą cenę.
Pros:

Blisko plaży, bardzo miły i pomocny personel. Plusem jest na pewno jest to że dosłownie 3 metry dalej jest w pełni wyposażony sklep. Śniadanie w cenie. Możliwość zrobienia prania, które zostało nam dostarczone, pięknie złożone i pachnące!

Cons:

Dostaliśmy dwa łóżka bez ręczników ani poszewki ani nic w stylu czym można było się przykryć. Samo prześcieradło. Trzeba się było o wszystko doprosić. Niestety nie było za czysto, na podłodze były rozdeptane robaki a po przesunięcia łóżka brud i kurz.

Unfortunately, a big disappointment. The photos promise luxury, but the reality is more like a prison cell, with a balcony overlooking a roof and a mess behind the hotel. The bathroom is nice, and everything is clean, but overall it’s what you’d call "polished poverty."

The worst part was the breakfast – very limited selection, stale toast, the cheapest jam, old noodle pancakes, and one time an egg... And the "best" part? In a more expensive hotel here in Sri Lanka, they serve you chemical juice made from powder.

Overall, this was the worst accommodation we experienced in Sri Lanka, and ironically, it was the most expensive.

Sorry, but I wouldn’t recommend this place to anyone. Even in the cheapest guesthouses in Sri Lanka, we felt welcomed and cared for — here, it’s just business.

Extraordinary and maximum value for money
Pros:

From the moment we checked in until we checked out (2 NTS), we felt at home. The location is exceptional and the staff are beyond any praise. Despite the language barrier, they did their extreme best to make us happy and respond to our million questions. Food was simple but tasty and most important, always served with a big smile and lots of heart. I will definitely return again

Great stay in Trincomalee
Pros:

We had a fantastic 5night stay at Caritas hotel in Trincomalee! The price was very reasonable considering the nice spacious room, big comfortable bed, sea view from our balcony and free breakfast! The location is amazing, right opposite the beach and super close to everything. Downstairs you can also have good lunch and even do your shopping in the Caritas shop. Overall wonderful and we really recommend! Thanks to the friendly and helpful staff:)))
