Absolut nicht empfehlenswert
Pros:

Auf Anfrage haben uns die Mitarbeitenden andere Zimmer gezeigt. Sie waren freundlich und können wahrscheinlich wenig für den schlechten Zustand der Unterkunft.

Cons:

Die Unterkunft ist sehr heruntergekommen und sehr dreckig. Die Matratze besteht aus zwei Schaumstoffmatten, die so abgelegen sind, dass in der Mitte ein Loch entstanden ist. Auf Anfrage haben wir dann auf das Familienzimmer geupgraded (gegen Aufpreis), welches größer und ein wenig komfortabler war. Insgesamt ist es sehr dreckig, von der Bettwäsche bis hin zum Zustand der Badezimmer. Wir wundern uns, wie das Hotel so gut bewertet sein kann.
Bei dem hohen Preis und den guten Bewertungen haben wir mit einer guten Unterkunft gerechnet, aber wurden sehr enttäuscht und haben direkt auf eine Nacht verkürzt, da es schon zu spät war, ein anderes Hotel zu finden.
Nicht zu empfehlen.

Pros:

I was here with my family for 2 nights and our entire stay was memorable. The owner/ manager was extremely friendly giving us insight on the places for us to visit around in Ampara. The food was exceptionally good and well prepared. The hot butter cuttlefish was a dish to die for. Rooms were spacious and comfortable. Looking forward to visit here again.

Pros:

If you’re seeking a place to stay in Ampara, this is the ideal spot. We had the pleasure of visiting historic locations like Rajagala and enjoying a fun boat ride at Gal Oya Lake. The hotel manager, Terral, was incredibly kind and made all the necessary arrangements, ensuring we didn’t have to worry about a thing. The food and lodging were exceptional, and I highly recommend this place to anyone.

Pros:

Terral and his staff were very friendly and accommodating. We had a pleasant stay and were able to visit many historical sites in the area. One of the highlights was that Arugambay is just a 2-hour journey away. We’d definitely visit again. Thank you for having us and providing a great stay in Ampara.
