The location is excellent. Everything is nearby — shops, restaurants, and markets — and you can easily walk everywhere. The staff were also friendly and polite.
Unfortunately, the room was not clean during my stay. The bed had hair on it and it seemed like it had not been properly cleaned. Considering the price I paid for three nights, the room condition was disappointing. Additionally, breakfast was not included, which made the overall value even lower.

New. Near train station, restaurants, river, shops. The location was perfect for us.
Big room, clean, free bottles of water, kettle and tea, coffee in the room.
We had problems with elevator, it didn’t work good/quality. Not all speak English good, including person in reception. They were not very friendly. During check-in they can’t long time find all rooms reservation and information about breakfast, etc. took different information about reserved rooms and breakfast, etc., during check-out they couldn’t issue an invoice and we left hotel without invoice.
During stay we asked for espresso in the reception bar one time, but left hotel without it. Staff chose own business and left the bar, and after waiting for 10-15 minutes, we left the hotel.
Breakfast normal/ok, but coffee awful, so better drink tea 😀.
Heel schoon hotel, personeel was heel vriendelijk. Kamers waren ook lekker ruim en heel schoon.

We stayed at Smart by Dedeman Eskişehir, and overall, the hotel itself is good — clean rooms, decent breakfast, and a nice location. However, one extremely unpleasant interaction completely ruined the experience for us.
On the day my father went to extend our stay (for the third time, as we genuinely liked the hotel), he spoke to a receptionist named Sahra. He told her that he wanted to extend the stay and would pay right away, but first, he needed to use the bathroom. My father is a respectful man and always pays immediately; he simply needed to go to the restroom before handling the payment.
Instead of responding with basic courtesy, Sahra insisted in a rude and impatient tone that he had to pay first, even as he was already walking toward the restroom. When my father reassured her that he would of course pay, she mocked his facial expression and mimicked him in a disrespectful, childish manner — something completely unacceptable from a hotel employee.
My father paid as soon as he returned, but the lack of respect and empathy from Sahra left a terrible impression. It’s shocking to see such behavior from the front desk of an otherwise good hotel. I sincerely hope the hotel management addresses this incident seriously and ensures staff are trained in professionalism and basic respect toward guests — especially returning ones.
Kahvaltı yeterliydi, otelin konumu çok iyiydi. Nevresimler ve havlular temizdi, yatak ve yastıklar rahattı.
Oda temizliği kötüydü, yatak üzerine konan mini masanın üzeri önceki misafirden kaldığı gibiydi, temizlenmemişti. Odanın zemini temiz değildi, yatağın konumlandırması/tasarımı kullanıcı deneyimi gözetilerek yapılmamıştı- bacaklarımızda morluklarla eve döndük. Lavabonun tasarımı da çok kötüydü- musluk çok geride kalıyordu, lavabo çok büyük olduğu için malzemeleri koyacak yer yoktu. Odada dolap yoktu.
The hotel and the stuff was so good and so professional especially receptionist Sahra.
Good quality modern hotel located in an excellent area of the city. Our room was very comfortable with a balcony overlooking the river. The service from the staff was first class especially the staff who ran the dining area, Hilal and Halime,they provided a very good and varied breakfast each morning. Overall we were very happy with our stay.

Spacious bedroom, seems like a new building, comfortable big bed, well maintained, clean, enough wardrobe and general space.
Very small stuff like a shower caddy might have been good. No place to keep stuff. Also the shower glass could have been longer. Too big a washbasin where water doesn't drain easily from all corners.
