Tucked away down a side street at the south end of Jambiani, this place was a little slice of heaven. It’s out of town, but that means you are mostly undisturbed by beach sellers which was a major plus.
The beach in front of the hotel is so stunning it’s hard to believe it’s real. The food was all incredibly fresh and high quality. Staff were incredible. The room was stylishly appointed and the best bed I slept in in Tanzania. The spa is not to be missed. The pool is stunning. Couldn’t have loved it more.

Es war perfekt. Die Manager sind sehr aufmerksam & haben immer eine positive Ausstrahlung. Man fühlt sich sofort angekommen & wie zuhause. Man spürt die Liebe zur Unterkunft in jeder Ecke & in jedem Detail. Das Essen & der Service sind besonders hervorzuheben. Justice, Safari & Diana machen einen super Job.
Es gibt wirklich nichts negatives. Wir hätten länger als 4 Tage bleiben sollen.
Everything was great. Excellent location on an amazing beach, very friendly and professional staff, amazing food, beautiful property and interior design. Spacious and super clean bedrooms. The highlight of the stay was the staff - we travel a lot and rarely find this level of hospitality.

Le plus impressionnant est la vue sur l’océan depuis la piscine et le restaurant. Nous avons également apprécié de pouvoir nous baigner dans l'océan facilement depuis l’hôtel, ainsi que le petit tour en bateau proposé par l’établissement.
Nous avons été déçus par notre chambre qui était annoncée « avec vue sur l’océan ». En réalité, elle disposait de trois petites fenêtres donnant sur la piscine. Des plantes étaient placées devant les fenêtres afin de préserver l’intimité des clients, ce qui masquait complètement la vue et rendait l’océan impossible à apercevoir. Nous avons trouvé la description de la chambre pas suffisamment claire sur ce point, c'est dommage.

This is the best hotel we’ve ever stayed at. I had been looking forward to staying here for so long, and it exceeded all our expectations.
The hotel is in a magical location and beautifully designed. The rooms are spacious, comfortable, and private. It’s a boutique hotel that truly has everything you could need.
The pool is absolutely stunning, with direct access to the sea. The restaurant is also delicious!
The entire staff was so kind and helpful and made sure we had everything we needed. A special thank you to the wonderful Youssef, and to the amazing Camille, who manages the hotel — we absolutely fell in love with her!

Be Zanzibar is a phenomenal hotel with a very chic boho vibe. We loved everything about our stay: the room, the delicious food, the activities and especially the hospitality. Salome, Justice and Safari were especially accommodating, fun to be around and made sure we had the best time. We also want to highlight the spa - we had a couples massage with the most breathtaking view and it was a nice way to end our beautiful stay. Asante Sana Be Zanzibar!

We spent four wonderful days at Be Zanzibar, and it was absolutely incredible. The setting is stunning, and the service was truly impeccable.
A huge thank you to the entire team, especially Salomé, Anna, Justice, Safari, Japhet, and everyone else who made our stay so special. You were all amazing!

Un séjour absolument incroyable, un vrai petit coin de paradis !
L’endroit est tout simplement sublime, encore plus beau en vrai que sur les photos. Les vues sont magnifiques, l’ambiance est hyper relaxante et tout est fait pour qu’on puisse vraiment déconnecter et profiter à fond.
Les chambres étaient super confortables, très pratiques, toujours impeccables, et on s’y sentait vraiment bien. Gros coup de cœur aussi pour la nourriture : tout était frais, délicieux et préparé avec beaucoup de soin. On s’est régalées pendant tout le séjour !
Il y a également plein d’activités à faire, donc on peut aussi bien passer la journée à se détendre qu’à découvrir et profiter des alentours. C’était exactement l’équilibre qu’on recherchait.
Et surtout, une mention toute spéciale à Jeff, Justice et Salome, qui ont vraiment rendu notre séjour encore plus exceptionnel. Toujours souriants, attentionnés, disponibles et adorables avec nous. Merci pour votre gentillesse et toutes vos petites attentions, ça a vraiment fait la différence!!!!!
Nous repartons avec de magnifiques souvenirs et l’impression d’avoir vécu quelques jours dans un rêve. On recommande cet hôtel les yeux fermés et on espère vraiment pouvoir revenir un jour !

The whole vibe of the properl is very relaxing, feels like paradise. The rooms are beautifully decorated.
The staff are so welcoming - special thank you to Justice- you are so great at your job, gave us so much care and attention from the start to the end, really made us feel welcome and relaxed. Another special thank you to Abdul the incredible artist in the treehouse art studio, I definitely recommend you take some time to paint when Abdul who is very talented. And finally, thank you to Camilla who was also amazing.
