The hotel is very well appointed and in a lovely location. The staff were very helpful and even sent on to me a pair of trousers which I had left behind. The food was amazing and my 'cuisine of paradise' curry for dinner was outstanding.

Fish on second night was lovely. Staff try to be helpful
No hall light in dark bedroom, fixed next day. Toughest steak I’ve never eaten. Had to argue at length for a proper breakfast on first day, second day ridiculously large breakfast. No draft lager, no Tequila nor Martini Rosso. Completely empty spirit bottles on the bar shelf. Conditioner in a bottle marked Shower gel.
A charismatic hotel right beside the lake with nice gardens, outside tables and a really good pool. The track around the reservoir was perfect for an evening jog

The hotel could benefit from a renovation. Room furniture and restaurant are a bit dated. A bit overpriced for the standard.

Food was disappointing. Menu was not very interesting and the buffet only bought out when the hotel was nearing full
1. Check in - pretty chaos and do not know how to allocate a room.
2. Room - surprised to see its condition . Simply not suite for hotel .
3. Doors -Not closing without smashing it.
4. Food - reasonable.
5. Simply that hotel need extensive refurbishing, lost its condition over a time.
We came as we stay there 12 years ago , but not again.
Only staff is the plus point and they r very supporting and friendly. But front office and mangement is like playing hide and seek with tourists.
We dont recommend this hotel to anyone ,its ageing hotel need heavy refurbishing .
Had a great breakfast buffet. Tasty food and a very efficient staff

Rooms AC does not work at midnight & the room has been changed from a triple room to da double room/ some windows are not closing properly. Washroom water is darning to the room because the room floor level is lower than the washroom.

Everything. Dirty, mouldy, run down, unhelpful staff, awful breakfast, horrible room, AC either freezing cold or didn’t work. The pool is grubby, oily and unhygienic. No bath in room no big deal but listed on our booking. Just 2 single beds pushed together. No view of lake. Go elsewhere
Over priced
The Lakeside was a charming place to stay. Relaxed rooms by the lake. Teaming with wildlife. Monkeys peacocks and loads of other birds. Great setting and staff.

Cleanliness lack of maintenance ie toilet lid not attached moved when sat on shower mold
Lack of greeting on arrival needing to look to see where to checking seeing it took who we think was the manager to get someone to attend to us After or drive walked in Food was of average standard as compared to other properties Hot chips cooked till hard and not enjoyable
