Amazing!!!
Pros:

Close to Opuke Pools and Spa and Town. Fast and clear communication. Amazing facilities - off street parking, comfy and clean beds, all the equipment in the kitchen you could need plus free coffee/tea 😊

Wonderful and comfortable
Pros:

Everything. The host was quick to reply to my query before checking in. The accomodation was budget friendly, very cosy, clean, warm and have everything we needed.

Great I’ll stay here again

There is holiday homes out the back and we did not know when I booked the property it said entire property I thought this included the full property but it was vary good value for money and was vary happy

Peaceful and quiet and Methven Pools a delight, I would return to Methven Retreat as a solo traveler in summer as I enjo

Clean and handy to town, value for money, well stocked pantry in the room if you wanted breakfast there, lovely friendly owner .

Cons:

Very very uncomfortable mattress in the second bedroom where I slept but my friend who had main unit bed was very comfortable. But heating in the unit bedroom ( main bedroom) was not a consistent heat and the room was cold unless sun was out. No mirror of any sort in second bedroom or rubbish tin either , simple fix though

Good value for money but want exactly what we expected.
Pros:

Good value for money and had good range of appliances in the kitchen

Cons:

It was very small so definitely couldn’t imagine having more than two-three people in here at once. It says this place is a tiny house but I feel like it’s more of a sleepout attached to a garage. We also had people banging around in the garage at 8-9 am which wasn’t pleasant to wake up to.

Everything was very clean and in good condition. The room was tiny but that's what it is advertised at
It suited us as we only had 2 nights there. Ideal for short stay

No kitchen sink but a dishwasher was provided and that was a good bonus

Quiet location, walking distance to restaurants/shops, clean and warm.

Cons:

Having not read the property description in great detail I was surprised on arrival to realise that this is part of a private house and the owner was also staying on site. Partly my fault but I feel this is not immediately obvious in the property photos and high level description on booking.com. The owner was very accomodating and it turned out fine in the end as we were out and about for most of our stay.

A pleasant stay
Pros:

The host is very nice and communicative, and very accommodating to our preferences. She provides information about the house, parking space and key code before our arrival. She also prepares bread, cereal and tea in the room for us. The house is very spacious with a fully equipped kitchen and a comfortable living room. The room is of good size, bathroom is clean and the bed is comfortable.

We really only used it as a sleeping quarters but still had enough space the kids could play and not annoy each others
