Es hat eine ruhige und schöne Lage. Und dennoch ist man gut angebunden. Das Hotel ist schön eingerichtet, gemütlich und man fühlt sich sehr wohl! Für uns war alles perfekt!
Comfortable bed. Very good breakfast with good choise. Walking distance to cross-country ski routes (at least 15-20 min of walking). Sauna included. Despite smaller rooms and very small bathroom, we had everything what we needed.
My roommate had bad experience - his ski jacket got stolen from hotel garderobe (publicly accessible room for storage of stuff). After cross-country skiing we put our jackets there to dry out, because there is very small closet in the room and his jacket was stolen over night and not found. Thus I do not recommend storing anything in this Garderobe room, eventhout this room is bid and dedicated for storage of stuff (especially in case you need to store stuff after checking out or over night). The bathroom in the room was very small. There are no direct cross-country ski routes next to the hotel.

Beautiful views of Oslo. We based ourselves for a 3 day city stay as we had a car and parking was hard centrally but free here. Really enjoyed being a bit out of the centre and took the train each day to Oslo which was super easy and very interesting. Very nice public areas with great atmosphere and views. Great breakfast. Sauna available which we used. Our room was small but still good value.

De locatie
Het personeel was vriendelijk maar leken niet blij met hun werk. Het restaurant zou om 17 uur open zijn. Maar het was om 18 uur nog gesloten en toen we bij de receptie vroegen moest hij eerst nog iemand uit de keuken halen.
My favourite place in Oslo. Lovely location, friendly staff, spacious common interiors, so quiet, with coffee and tea available non stop. Special thanks to Syvert, this receptionist makes this hotel incredible.
Think about kitchen facilities, if not in selected rooms, then maybe in some common space downstairs? The hotel is so remotely situated and so convenient for Nordmarka trekking that a little kitchen available for guests would be really appreciated.
