Nice rooms and staff. Excellent dinner with good choice of wines and breakfast with everything you could want.
The only negatives were the smokers outside our room the smell of which drifted in despite the door and window being shut .
The best thing about the stay was the patisserie/ boulangerie . excellent.
its a strange place to stay. the room was very basic.
The sheets were poly/cotton seersucker. very bumpy. we ' re in "The Princess and the Pea" territory here. reviewers say that the convenience of the location is good. but i ve just written a glowing review of a hotel in nearby chalons en champagne and that too is easy to get to. i dont think you should sacrifice quality for ease of access.
it was clean when we first arrived
We stayed here for 5 days, from the 6th to the 11th, and unfortunately, the experience was not what we expected based on the description and advertisement of the room.
When we arrived, the room was nice and clean, and at first everything seemed fine. However, the room was advertised for 4 people, and 2 members of our group were disabled, yet there were only 2 chairs in the room, which was not practical or suitable for our needs.
We were also under the impression that the room would have air conditioning, but there was none. The room became extremely hot and uncomfortable, to the point where we had to ask for a fan because the heat was unbearable.
Another major issue was the lack of a fridge in the room. We had medication that needed to be kept refrigerated, so we had no choice but to ask reception if we could store it in their fridge. While they did accommodate us, having to rely on reception to keep essential medication cold was far from ideal and not what we expected from the room.
Unfortunately, the housekeeping was also disappointing. During our 5-day stay, the room was cleaned twice, and on both occasions the cleaning was poorly done. The beds were not properly made and the floor was not swept properly, leaving us feeling that the room had not really been cleaned to an acceptable standard.
Overall, although the room was initially clean and the staff did assist us with the medication and fan, the overall experience was disappointing. We felt quite misled by the advertisement and description of the room, particularly regarding the facilities and suitability for four people.
For us, the lack of air conditioning, no fridge, limited seating, and poor housekeeping made the stay much less comfortable than we had anticipated. Unfortunately, based on our experience, we would not choose to stay here again.

Keine Möglichkeit den Hund zum Abendessen mitzunehmen. Man wird in der Lobby oder draußen nicht bedient. Im Restaurant ging es hektisch zu. Die Qualität des Essens war sehr gut.

Das Hotel hat ein sensationell gutes Restaurant. Wir waren ungefähr 2 Wochen in Frankreich und hatten dort mit Abstand das beste Essen während unserer Reise!
Die Mitarbeiter waren alle sehr freundlich und zuvorkommend. Es gibt eine ausreichende Anzahl an Parkplätzen und einen Pool.
Das Hotel ist ein idealer Ausgangspunkt, um die Champagne zu erkunden - und auch sehr gut geeignet für einen Zwischenstopp. Wir empfehlen, eine Tischreservierung für das Restaurant vorzunehmen.

Das Familienzimmer über 2 Etagen war groß, Betten bequem, das Bad gut ausgestattet. Nach der Ankunft konnte man noch schnell in den Pool.
Es gab gute Gassigehmöglichkeiten für den Hund. Super war die Bäckerei am Gebäude, wo wir morgens schnell einen Kaffe und Croissants für die Fahrt holen konnten. Der Parkplatz war groß genug.
Alles war prima.
Im oberen Teil des Familienzimmers wären neben den Betten Nachttische oder so etwas gut, um Brillen, Handy etc. abzulegen. Oben ist kein Fenster, ein Bild an der Wand wäre auch schön.

It felt like such a quaint typical French setting, pretty hotel, amazing food 10/10, and the added extra of perfect little pool which we were lucky to have the use of in the nice weather and an on site artisan bakery. The staff were so lovely and attentive. It was honestly a fantastic stop over for us on the way to le shuttle.
Only negative was the bathroom was a bit dated so didn’t feel it matched the room that well
