A great independent hotel, perfect for a stop-off en route from Calais to the Alps.
Pros:

We have stayed here several times and like the hotel.
Pros:

Good location en route to Calais. Tesla chargers on site. Great bakery on site.

Cons:

The bedroom was freezing cold and it was not possible to turn the radiator or the air-conditioning up.

Overnight stop on the way back to the UK with a 70th birthday celebration
Pros:

Located a short drive from the A26 it is in a perfect location for an overnight stop on the way back to the UK. It has a great restaurant with reasonably priced dishes using locally sourced produce and the staff are very attentive. The rooms are very clean and large and all set on the ground floor. Breakfast was excellent with a choice of a typical English fare and pastries, cheese, cold cuts, yoghurts of several types and cereals.

Cons:

Nothing that we didn't like about our stay, this is our second visit and we are likely to return when the opportunity arises
