Great place to stay in MacLeod Ganj! The interior is nicely decorated in Tibetan style and the view from the window is incredible. We stayed here for 5 nights. The owners were so helpful and took care of us like family ❤️ Room and the bathroom was very clean and they also serve great quality fresh breakfast!
Excellent clean accommodation.
Lovely staff and an excellent breakfast!
This was my second visit and I would not hesitate to return.
Nothing.
The owner and his wife are well spoken in English and most helpful.
The rooms are decorated with wooden panels and beautiful Tibetan painted furniture
The place is very cosy and comfortable and has a beautiful Tibetan feel
There is a decent breakfast offered
Bit of noise in evenings as it is close to road that has some traffic
I really liked this hotel. The Tibetan art in the rooms was lovely. It is a non-smoking place and my room smelled fresh and clean. It is in a good location at the end of the busy road that leads to the crown center so it's quiet for the most part. If you have problems with arthritis the walk up the steep hill to get to Market Square might be challenging but the hotel can call a taxi. The view from my room was nice. I watched a troop of monkeys playing on the building across the street. It was fairly quiet but at night I would suggest ear plugs because the street dogs bark. The staff was friendly and very helpful. One of the staff saw I had difficulty with the stairs and told the owner. She offered an upgrade to a ground floor room and rearranged the guest incoming schedule to accommodate me.. I stayed for a week. The owner also provided currency exchange at a very good rate. I had an excellent stay.
All good
Room was beautifully decorated, the views from the balcony were amazing and the staff was extremely helpful, friendly and flexible. One of the best hotels I have stayed at in India!

A beautiful hotel, well kept big rooms, extremely clean, and a very well trained and hospitable staff. Every room has beautiful Tibetan details which add a personal touch. Everything on the menu that we ate was delicious, has a selection of Tibetan dishes for newcomers to try. The rooms also have balconies with a good view of the mountains, the location of the hotel right on the Jogiwara road makes it easy to travel wherever one wants in Mcleodganj, walking distance from the Dalai Lama Temple. Special mention for the staff members who made our stay comfortable.
This family run hotel is amazing with it’s caring staff, beautifully Tibetan rooms and marvelous Mountain View. I will come and stay again.
Amazing hotel with a very friendly people very close to the Main Tibetian Temple.
We had a fantastic experience at this hotel. The hospitality was excellent, and the staff were incredibly helpful and kind throughout our stay. A special thanks to Sonam, who upgraded our room at no extra cost—such a thoughtful gesture! The rooms were spacious, spotless, and very comfortable. Food was simple but fresh and tasty. Overall, a great stay with warm, welcoming service. Highly recommended!
Amazing hotel filled with Tibetian culture and very kind personal. Bed was very comfortable and everything clean. I would recommend this hotel to anyone
The location is close to all the major tourist attractions, shops and eateries. There’s a beautiful view of the hills and the staff is very polite and helpful.
This is the cleanest room I've stayed in during my travels in India. It is tastefully decorated with Tibetan Buddhist paintings and furnishings. Friendly and helpful staff. Convenient restaurant with tasty homemade cakes. Close to the Dali Lama Temple. I would definitely stay here again.
Room and washroom was clean
Behaviour of the staffs and the owner was so good that we decided to come back here again
Value for money. The host is nice and helpful. He went out of his way to make sure our stay was good. Rooms are clean and aesthetic just like the photos.
No jet spray in the washroom
I had a lovely stay, even though it was short. The host was incredibly kind, allowing me to check in early and check out late to accommodate my night bus schedule. The room was quiet, warm, impeccably clean, and beautifully maintained and decorated, with a stunning mountain view. The property also features a café/restaurant with delicious food, and the breakfast, especially the Tibetan bread, was very tasty.
Chodon went above and beyond to help me arrange a cab for Gulla Temple, starting the Triund hike, and getting to the bus station. The location is perfect, with everything within walking distance. If I return to McLeod Ganj, I will definitely choose to stay here again.
