Das ganze Haus, sowie die Unterkunft stinkt. Hauseingang sowie das Treppenhaus ist sehr ungepflegt. Das Zimmer ist sehr klein. Kaum Platz um einen Koffer hinzustellen.

It could jave done with hot water in the sink in the morningand a small fridge to store food for the early morning starts.

Absolute tegenvaller was het binnenkomen in de trapzaal vh app. Heel vuil en onderkomen. Bij ons zeggen ze"de binnenkom is alles..."er worden 2 kamers verhuurd, ook dàt is volledig afhankelijk vd huurders vd andere kamer.De deuren zijn luidruchtig, ook geluiden v op de gang dringen allemaal door tot in de kamer.

Nous n'avons pas apprécié les instructions qui manquaient de précisions (le fait que l'appartement est dans l'immeuble au bout de la rue côté droit-il y a 6 numéros peu visibles sur une vitre-, ne pas nous avoir indiqué qu'on peut monter directement au 1er étage de l'immeuble), nous cherchions à l'entrée extérieure une indication. Le fait de devoir se déchausser dans le couloir d'entrée de l'appartement, impossible quand nous avons nos bagages à mettre dans la chambre. Nous n'avons pas aimé le fait de ne pas pouvoir accrocher à un endroit le drap de bain pour lui permettre de sécher, puisque la salle de bain est partagée et que nous étions là pour 2 nuits. Nous n'avons pas apprécié le fait de devoir transporter le matin notre tapis de bain (mis dans notre chambre à notre arrivée, il y avait donc 2 tapis de bain dans la petite salle de bain, celui pour les propriétaires et le nôtre) en plus des vêtements et du drap de bain pour aller dans la salle de bain où, à part un porte manteau et le dessus du wc (problème si on doit y aller à ce moment-là), rien n'est prévu pour déposer nos affaires. Chambre petite, pas d'accès à la cuisine (mais nous le savions, c'est indiqué dans l'annonce). Enfin, un problème d'aération dans la salle de bain même si celle-ci est moderne. En fait, un excès de règles et un manque d'espace. Et le tarif excessif (129 € par nuit !) pour une simple chambre avec salle de bain partagée dans une île à l'écart de tout et sans même l'accès à la cuisine.

Access to a kitchen though I was aware this was the case when I booked.

There was no hot water in the tap, only the shower. There was a cute little cat that mewed very loudly at the door. The doors have keyed locks on the inside - which seems like a fire hazard.

EDITED REVIEW (after property contacted me 2 times to change it): Be advised, it is a single (cozy/small) room in someone's flat. In the accommodation, there's no shared space for reading a book, playing cards, etc. You just have access to the small room & the shared bathroom. It ended up being fine because we weren't at the flat much at all, but if our stay had been longer, it would have been tough to feel cooped up in the small room. For the price, I thought it wasn't a match for the value. SEE BELOW FOR COMMENT ON DRIVING VS BEING ON FOOT

We are quite taken aback by your review. Nowhere do we advertise being a guest-house. We have always advertised as “Cosy Guest ROOM”. We are explicit about this on the booking.com profile and the very first message you receive from us when the booking is confirmed explains this. We also remind you of this in the check-in message. If you had read the profile and our messages, how could you possibly think we were a guest house?
It is deeply unfair that we should be penalised in this way and I will be taking up the matter with Booking.com.

ORIGINAL REVIEW: The name of "guesthouse" was really misleading. I had read the description before booking, but didn't understand that it's a single (cozy/small) room in someone's flat. So in the accommodation, there's no shared space for reading a book, playing cards, etc. You just have access to the small room and the shared bathroom. Given the name "guesthouse" I thought it was a room in a house with other rented rooms, a shared bathroom and common space. It ended up being fine because we weren't at the flat much at all, but if our stay had been longer, it would have been tough to feel cooped up in the small room. For the price, I thought it wasn't a match for the value.

Olisimme toivoneet pienempiä pyyhkeitä kasvoille/käsille. Paikkoja mihin ripustaa omia vaatteita tai tavaroita olisi voinut olla kiva lisä, koska huone on pienehkö.

The room was a bit tight for luggage with the king size bed, but workable.
