Die Lage direkt am Meer ist super! Gute Restaurants und Anbieter für Touren direkt nebenan am Strand. Das Personal war immer hilfsbereit und freundlich.
Die Möbel sind schon sehr in die Jahre gekommen. Der Anfahrtsweg ist etwas holprig.

Het eten was niet bijzonder zo te zien en was prijzig, en zeer ongezellige eetgelegenheid. Heb er niet gegeten, maar er waren toch voldoende andere leuke eettentjes in de buurt.

Les images fournies par booking sont mensongères : le logement ne correspondait pas aux photos, il était beaucoup moins luxueux, il n’y avait pas assez de sièges pour tout le monde, la tv était beaucoup plus petite, la cuisine moins bien équipée . On nous a vendu du grand luxe à prix fort alors que c’était juste un bon standing. Le service de chambre était absent : en 5 jours , poubelles pas vidées, serviettes pas changées etc … enfin, petit déjeuner trop cher.
The location is brilliant and when you have complained enough to get transferred to a room that matches your booking, and spent an hour a day getting the staff to fix all the quality issues with the room, it is nice accommodation.
There are two massive issues with this property.
Firstly the Booking.com listing do not align with many of the bookable rooms. They include a sister property 200m down the beach with a smaller pool, and much worse ocean views. So if you book an Oceanview 3 bedroom apartment with immediate access to a big pool, there is a small chance you get what you see in the pictures\description and a large chance you get allocated an apartment at the back of the sister hotel, with a tiny view of any ocean and a significant walk to the main hotel. This is a known issue to the hotel and Booking.com should fix.
Secondly rooms have an endless list of minor issues - dirty towels, bedsheets, bandwidth constrained wifi, lack of clean kitchen towels, with no housekeeping team leadership. So you have to spend about 1 hour per day talking to the friendly staff to slowly get things fixed. Everything was fixable and then the room was nice, but it was like a Sri Lankan Fawlty Towers experience each day.
The location is good, good pool and the beach is right in front of the hotel
We did not have to check in, so no welcome, drinks or towel. The card explination of the door was not told so I had to come back coz battery died and then again for not working. There were ants on the table in the room. The guys cleaned it but it came back other days. The clocked worked not in the room. Breakfast was too expensive for what you got so we didnt botter to take it. The atmosfere in the hotel is poor so all guests go elswhere for breakfast, lunch or dinner. Maybe create something nice for guests to eat at the beach. The beach towels were the wole time finished so in the morning when guests want to go there was nothing. I do not understand why they not work with passes or so, that you return you towel and get one back. The security sat there all day. Beds were takrn and the guetst were gone so maybe put a poolboy there who checks places beacause there were not enough sunbeds and they were very old. The place was too expensive for what you got.
It’s location
There was no housekeeping service during our stay that we decided to cut short. They didn’t clear garbage from the condo. Kitchen facilities were broken and they didn’t provide kitchen towels. Dirty place
The location in Nilaveli was very good. The apartment was spacious and clean on arrival. Lovely pool and it is right on the beach.
Comfortable accomodation but not amazing. There was no during stay cleaning and emptying of bins. When challenged, the staff had said they will do it, but it still didn’t get done. Disappointed with that aspect, but it didn’t ruin our stay.
