I am writing to request a full refund for my booking at Golden Orchid Guest House in Kolkata.
I arrived at the property at approximately 10:18 PM on the day of my check-in. When I arrived, the hotel staff and the owner informed me that Golden Orchid Guest House is no longer affiliated with FabHotels since November 2025.
Because the property is no longer connected with FabHotels, they were unable to process my booking or check me in through the reservation I made online.
Since it was already late at night and I had no other accommodation available, the hotel asked me to make a separate offline payment of ₹4200 for two nights in order to stay there. I had no choice but to pay this amount and stay.
FabHotels has now informed me that their system shows I did not check in and advised me to contact Booking.com regarding this issue.
However, the reason I could not check in through the booking was because the property is no longer affiliated with FabHotels, even though it is still listed online. This caused confusion and forced me to pay again directly to the hotel.
Because this situation occurred due to incorrect or outdated listing information and not because of any mistake on my side, I kindly request a full refund for my original booking.
Please investigate this matter and assist me with the refund as soon as possible.

Breakfast was limited to 50/- per head, and was taken from some roadside hotel.
Behaviour of the manager, he was rude. He said its nothing to do with him what FabHotel has shown in the website while booking.
