Great location in the French Quarter, friendly and helpful staff, with spacious rooms!
Pros:

Great location in the French Quarter, with clean and spacious rooms, bathroom and kitchenettes with cutlery and plates, etc. Plenty of great restaurants within walking distance, plus friendly and helpful staff (especially Keith and Kennith). Mahogany Jazz Hall is the next street over (highly recommend checking this venue when you stay here). I look forward to staying there again on my next visit to New Orleans.

I try to stay at La Pension every time I visit New Orleans. It is my absolute favorite!!

Overall I was happy and would definitely stay here again.
Pros:

Very quaint hotel. It had a “vibe” and was in a great location. 👍🏻 The staff were very friendly and helpful. Our rooms were clean and well appointed.

Cons:

Check out time was at 10:00 and I thought that was a little early. They did store our bags for us so we didn’t have to drag them around. We were catching a cruise at 1:00.
