I highly recommend Joint Boutique Hotel. I felt right at home there.
Pros:

Great, quiet location in the Romantic Zone.
Very unique property, with modern character and charm.
Loved all the common areas.
The staff were always helpful.
The complimentary morning coffee was a nice touch.
The daily drink specials were inexpensive and well made.

Always enjoy my stay at this hotel....
Pros:

Josue from the front desk was helpful. I love the bed, coffee and filtered water. The location is perfect. The shower gets hot fast and the towels are nice. Noise was not an issue at all.

Cons:

A sign in the bathroom asked that we don't flush toilet paper...instead we are to put it in the garbage pail. That could be a deal breaker for some.

A beautiful place to stay if you enjoy walking and eating and shopping a lot! Loved it.

La cama muy cómoda, la seguridad del lugar y de cada habitación es muy buena. La caja fuerte en la habitación es buen detalle. Y no menos importante, el servio al cliente excelente por parte de recepción, limpieza y en el bar 👌🏼

Recepcjonista poinformował mnie o niedziałającym jacuzzi po dokonaniu całkowitej opłaty przy recepcji. Zaprowadził nas do pokoju i to ja zapytałam gdzie jest jacuzzi a recepcjonista odpowiedzial, ze nie dziala od trzech dni i przez kolejne trzy dni na pewno nie uda się naprawić. Przy check in dostałam automatycznego maila, ze jacuzzi dziala. Moja rezerwacja była trzy dniowa. Musialam szukać innego hotelu będąc na miejscu. Zapłaciłam wyższą cenę za inny hotel. Byl to wysoki sezon.

I would stay here again.
Pros:

The beds were comfy, free filtered cold and hot water, free drip coffee in mornings, free drink on arrival, many English speaking TV channels, friendly staff, walk to food and beach, price reasonable, quiet, Paperbacks. Great shower.

Cons:

Bed super small. Room overlooking the river, but TINY. No real food.

Great location and very practical hotel with lots of facilities.
Pros:

The location is in the heart of old Puerto Vallarta. Easy access to walk to the beach and the tourist shopping area. The area has lots of restaurants and services.
