Perfect holiday spot in Surfers Paradise
Pros:

In an amazing spot - walking distance to everywhere. Really helpfull staff at reception. It might be a little dated but it's actually perfect overall. We had most days out exploring etc so only spent later in the evenings there. Amazing views. Definitely recommend.

Cons:

Very slightly dated and a little bit dirty in some places but all in all, a perfect holiday spot.

We had a great time. Aside from the cleanliness aspect, the hotel gave us everything we needed from it. Staff were great
Pros:

Staff were friendly and welcoming. Location was great, easy walk to everything down Cavill and close to bus stops and tram station.

Cons:

Cleanliness was the biggest downfall. The place looked like it hadn’t been cleaned properly in years and there were noticeable stains on sheets etc upon check-in. We were told about a scheduled clean a few days into our stay like it was the only clean the room would get a month or something … the floor and shower tiles all cracked, dust everywhere (and I mean like years worth of dust in places), toilet had stains and lots of dust/dirt on the rim behind the seat etc.

There was also no way to lock the screen doors to prevent young children from getting onto the balcony and possibly having an accident, this definitely needs to be changed for peace of mind for travellers with inquisitive kiddos.

All in all, it was just old and unkempt. Not a bad stay and comfortable space it just hasn’t been looked after or thoroughly cleaned.

Love Moorings on Cavill. Will be staying couple times a year
Pros:

Stayed before. Love location. Staff great. Already Booked to return

Cons:

Big floor mat slippery and also tripped us couple times as bunched up. Not sure cleaned under mat for a while
Couple of wear &tear signs - took photos as wasn’t done by us. Perfectly happy but preferred apartment we had last time

Value for money, some room repairs needed.
Pros:

Location was excellent, view over river was great. Spacious apartment with lovely pool and spa.

Cons:

The curtains need to be fixed/replaced. We knew how to adjust the living track enough to be able to move the curtains but they were stuck in the open position when we arrived and someone else would not have been able to close them. Bedroom curtains not good either.
Some parking spaces way too tight, reception gave us another space as we could not use the one provided.
Need to check batteries more often, difficult to operate the heater without the remote.
It was very cold during our stay and would have loved another blanket.

Friendly staff, great service and location and location.
Pros:

Location and location and great value for money. Staff are friendly, knowledgeable people and willing to help you out to make your stay enjoyable. The GLink (light rail) 30 metres from your hotel. We will definitely be back,

Cons:

We have no complaints, for the value it’s worth it. It’s not new but it is the best location you only come back to sleep. Like I said we will definitely be back.
