The restaurant was nice
The rooms felt very old fashioned and the noise from next room was annoying as I could hear the whole conversation did complain and nothing was done.
Breakfast was excellent with very good spread of food items.
Noisy due to the ongoing wedding receptions held in the hotel.
The kitchen staff certainly tried to accommodate our strict preference for dairy free, animal product free food. The hotel grounds are pretty. The kitchen unfortunately had limited daytime hours.
I would not have booked this hotel had I known there would be multiple weddings going on the nights we were there. After full days of traveling and sightseeing we were looking forward to returning to our room for rest and early sleep which wasn’t possible due to multiple wedding parties. While the hotel did generously attempt to accommodate us by moving us to a quieter (and larger) room, it was just a room facing a different direction of the hotel grounds which also had the joyful -but not restful- sounds of a wedding party. We treated ourselves to a couples foot massage, which turned out to be the weakness massage we experienced in India. Or anywhere.
