If you’re in the vicinity a night or two at Hotel Boutique Casona del Boticario
Pros:

The property is in the beautiful village of San Vicente de la Sonsierra which has around 1000 inhabitants. The property is situated just off the main square so very convenient. The room we booked had views over the vineyards and had a little balcony with these amazing vistas. The bed
was very comfy and the room had AC ( not all the rooms have AC and not all have vineyard views). The owner couldn’t have been more helpful, he showed us where to park the car ( the roads are narrow so quite challenging but we have a Land Rover and it was ok if a little hairy in places). He also showed us a couple of good places to eat and went out of his way to ensure we had everything we needed.
Breakfast was very nice, a buffet of cold meats and cheese, lovely fresh fruit and pastries.
The village square is lovely to sit out with a glass of wine and we were lucky enough to arrive on the Romería festival day so we’re treated to dancing and music.
All in all a really delightful stay.

Cons:

Really minor details but it would have been nice to have separate shower gel and shampoo and some conditioner in the room. Also a box of tissues .

This is a very lovely hotel, with kind and helpful host and amazing views of the hills and vineyards
Pros:

Breakfast had a good range of options and coped well with dietary restrictions.

Cons:

Would have loved a kettle in the room for tea!

A perfect stopover on the long drive from the Mediterranean to Santander.
Pros:

Lovely old building tastefully modernised - with fine furniture and artefacts - near the centre of this beautiful historic town.
Excellent host.

Cons:

Not much to criticise about the hotel. There was a shortage of open restaurants in town but we found food and had a wonderful stay.

Et la vue de la fenêtre de la chambre

Cons:

La propreté de la chambre: intérieur des placards,tiroirs, vitres exterieures sales
Les moisissures du joint autour de la douche
Les fauteuils en mauvais état

La salle de petit déjeuner : état de propreté qui laisse à désirer, mobilier viellot

Le choix du buffet petit déjeuner, insuffisant et peu varié compte tenu du prix exorbitant non compris dans le prix de la chambre
