Pros:

The hotel was close to the beach

Cons:

I tried to check in early and even offered to pay an additional fee, but I was told it wasn't possible because the room was still being cleaned.

After finally checking in, I was horrified by the condition of the room. The carpet was filthy, with stains all over it. The shower was disgusting, with mould and dirty tiles. The smell in the room was awful, making it very unpleasant to stay in. To make matters worse, one of the coffee mugs was chipped, which is completely unacceptable considering the amount I paid.

The area is nice, but unfortunately the cleanliness and overall condition of the hotel were very disappointing. I definitely won't be returning.

Cons:

Very dated, tiny single lift considering it is used by Caledonian coach holidays I saw lots of guests struggle with luggage up stairways, no help. Lights and electric sockets in room not working. Rooms and beds so basic and old dated furnishings and decor.

Need renovation
Pros:

The stuff is nice. Beds, towels and the bathroom were clean.

Cons:

We stayed in room 303 for one night. The walls had finger prints. The picture above the bed was very dirty. The furniture and the windows are extremely old.

Decent size room, comfy bed
Cons:

Cleanliness of the bathroom. Needed a really good clean, limescale on the shower hair in the plug taps and glass looked like it hadn't been cleaned for a while and dust on toilet roll holder, towel rail, light bulb

Friendly staff bar and entertainment good room spotless

We booked room only but decided to eat in restaurant.. meal was ok but when first entered restaurant was treated like we were dumb for not knowing what the protocol was

Pros:

Room spacious with comfortable bed but drab uninviting decor with view of fire escape . Compact shower unit with a billowing shower curtain . Fan kept in wardrobe was last PAT tested in 2021.Same member of staff for check in and check - out who was consistently surly and had a “ couldn’t care less attitude “ on both occasions . Check i in amounted to name , here’s your key , there’s your room
