it was a wonderful 2 night stay and we are leaving feeling pampered and refreshed.
Pros:

Allison and Bob at the front desk were great and saw to every need. They were super attentive, even on this busy day with the ribbon cutting ceremony! The newly renovated rooms were beautiful!

Cozy and charming
Pros:

Loved to wake up and see the ocean right out my window. It is such a charming and historical hotel. Very comfortable, clean and cozy. The staff was kind and helpful.

We love love the beds there and staff. Weather was fantastic and so was the beach!!!

Disappointed
Pros:

No breakfast offered. No coffee pot in room. No fridge.
Noncomparison to other ICona. Porch was a dining area no sitting for pleasure.

Cons:

Everything. Disappointed in room. It was small. We had to ask for an extra chair. Tight quarters.. it was only for one person.

Cons:

Advertise beach umbrellas and only have 10 for 18 rooms. The toilet tissue holder was broken for our entire stay. Not quite up to the brand standard.

Location, location, location, cleanliness, restaurant, staff

Cons:

It would be nice to have some chairs on the porch overlooking the beach. The area is fully covered by restaurant tables which are not used much of the time.
Would have liked some light breakfast options to go with the coffee offered in the office area.

Cons:

The room's windows had no screens. The ocean view was lame. There was no shelves or medicine cabinet in the bathroom . The toilet paper holder was broken. It was billed as newly renovated. No way.

We had a wonderful stay in Spring Lake at The Grand Victorian
Pros:

The location of the hotel is great! We were able to walk downtown and easily access the beach. The restaurant in the hotel was amazing and all the staff were very accommodating and friendly. The bed was very comfortable and everything was super clean. The hotel provides beach badges, towels, chairs and umbrellas. We brought our own beach accessories but this was a very nice touch.

Cons:

The room was very small and the bathroom was dated. There was no refrigerator to store leftover food or drinks/milk for the baby.
