This hotel is a great value despite the negative customer experience we received at checkout.
Pros:

Daiwa Roynet Hotel Sendai offers great value for touring the city. It's close to top shopping, restaurants, and Sendai Station.
Compared to Hotel Metropolitan Sendai (right at the station), it provides a similar room and hotel experience for about $100 less per night. A short cab ride into the city saves money without sacrificing quality.
I stayed at both—Daiwa Roynet is nearly identical in comfort and convenience.

Cons:

At checkout, we asked the front desk to call a van for our snowboard gear to Sendai Station. The staff refused, saying such requests must be made the night before.
We arranged it ourselves, but this felt unhelpful—especially for a nice hotel. Similar properties in Japan readily call large taxis or vans same-day with no issue.
Strange policy for otherwise good service.

Pros:

設備は整っていますし朝食もメニューが多く楽しめました。

Cons:

一見きれいに見えるが、床には乾燥したコンタクトが何個も落ちており、風呂には赤や黒のカビが生えており浴槽すらザラザラで掃除はされていないようです。入浴前にホテルの風呂掃除をしたのは初めてでとても不愉快でした。設備が良くても残念すぎます。

Great location, comfortable bed, bring earplugs if you sleep light
Pros:

Great location in the middle of several izakaya areas - I’d initially planned to stay near the station and I’m glad I didn’t, this was a much more relaxed area to stay for six nights. Room was nice and thoughtfully laid out, really comfortable bed and pillow (yes firm but suited me), great shower, good lighting options. Staff were helpful, offered to make a restaurant booking, all the usual Daiwa Roynet amenities in the foyer. Lawsons on the ground floor, a 711 one minute away and a subway stop just beyond that.

Cons:

The only complaint was there wasn’t good soundproofing between the door and the hall. I barely heard anything from the rooms either side - faint buzz of an alarm, nothing else - but you can hear voices, doors closing, even footsteps in the hall and, on one evening, a drunk couple who came in at 1:30 AM and carried on for half an hour. So maybe try to get a room away from the lift? Otherwise I really liked the hotel.

立地も最高ですがホテルの清潔感、セキャリテｨ、部屋の大きさ、設備、最高でした！3泊受験用に泊まりましたがここにして良かったと息子と帰りに話していました。
また仙台を訪れる際はここを常宿にしたいと思います、息子の入試結果次第ですが笑
