The facilities in the room were nice - mini bar with free drinks and snacks, motion lights, day and night blinds controlled by remote control. The hotel also provide complimentary supper. Staff were pleasant and helpful.
There was loud drilling and hacking noises generated from renovations at a ground level shop which started in the morning around 9am and disturbed our sleep. We were not pre-warned of this possible issue. Upon complaining on our second day, the hotel staff arranged for us to change to a room on the other wing, which was very troublesome because we had to repack our luggage and unpack our things in the new room. When we gave feedback to Booking.com and requested for some form of compensation e.g. discounted stay or complimentary breakfast vouchers as a gesture of good will, the hotel would not consider. They only left us a fruit platter and a complimentary pack of travel toiletries with a card of apology. We felt the gesture was disappointing and insincere, compared to the inconvenience caused.

1st day checked in and discovered bathroom leaked. Then asked for a new room. When checked in 2nd room offered, when entering the room, it smelled terribly smoke cigarate. As it was already nearly 9pm, too much hazard to ask for a room change. We had to open the window and door to make the room smell better. It said no smoking room yet guests still can do whatever they want, too sad! From Malaysia

It is well located with easy access (less than 100m) to the Xintiandi metro station and an easy walk to nearby Fuxing Park and the Sinan Mansions.
The front desk staff were extremely helpful and met our requests with always a smile and always saying “没事”！
The ironing facilities are in a common area which makes it not very convenient as we need to go downstairs. Do consider having irons available upon request for guests to borrow and use in their own room.
The nightly complimentary supper is a great service but do consider including coffee and tea as part of the supper service. That would be well received if there is.

The breakfast was delicious. The staff were nice. There was a robot for delivery, which made it easier to order stuff. The location was nice, lots of shops/restaurants walkable distance. The laundry was a nice feature, equipped with detergent etc.
