Scenic location, but doesn’t currently offer its 4 star rating
Pros:

Location, pleasant staff, decent evening dinner.

Cons:

Shabby room, intermittent hot/cold old-fashioned off -the -taps shower, no bar snacks at lunchtime. Didn’t fully provide what the current website promotional promises…

Pros:

Die Unterkunft ist leicht zu finden und alles entspricht den Fotos. Simpler flexibler Checkin, wir haben uns sofort wohl gefühlt und kommen gerne wieder. Das Personal war sehr freundlich, das Abendessen und vor allem das Frühstück phantastisch. Eine Aussicht und Ruhe wie dort findet man selten.

I believe this hotel was once a beautiful four star accommodation but has unfortunately fallen below that standard. The

The location was stunning. The staff were very helpful and were very accommodating to assist us with our young reactive dog. Thank you to Alex and co ❤️

Cons:

The menu was limited to just three non vegetarian options and one vegetarian choice. We were staying for four nights and that just wasn’t enough as the menu didn’t change at all

room was dirty and aged, nobody was at the desk or could be found when ij arrived at 830pm - they were apparently understaffed; and restaurant closed at 830pm so I could not even eat

Home from home in a most spectacular location.
Pros:

The location of the Hotel has to be seen to be appreciated ….. it is quite something ….. the building is old and needs some TLC but Jonathan and his team couldn’t try harder to make your stay special ……. It’s the location and the staff and of course the outstanding quality of the food that will make your stay !

Charming, well managed, historical hotel.
Pros:

We loved the property and its history. Well managed and very professional staff. Tended to everyone’s needs.

Cons:

We may not have reserved at Taychreggan had we known roads to / from were 10+ miles of winding / hilly single lane roads. A little stressful for someone not used to them

A fab find with warm and welcoming staff plus great food. The room was very spacious and a great price.

Needs some updating but lovely staff and food.
Pros:

The suite we had was very clean and freshly decorated. The food was excellent and the staff were absolutely lovely.

Cons:

We entered via the car park/rear entrance and it is very shabby. Also most of the common areas of the hotel are dated and tired. Sofas are old fashioned and general look is old.

Sehr hübsches Hotel, einzigartige Lage
Pros:

Sehr schöne Lage, direkt am Wasser. Essen ist sehr gut und weiterzuempfehlen. Man kann einen sehr entspannten Urlaub verbringen.

Cons:

Die Fenster sahen nicht sehr einladend aus und könnten mal geputzt bzw. von Spinnweben befreit werden.
