Lovely stay in historic building on the countryside
Pros:

A beautiful building in a beautiful area outside of the tourist crowds of Yangshou. We asked the reception for E-Scooter, as everybody is driving them in the area, the boss made a call and 5 minutes later a guy with a motorcycle showed up. The iced coffee in the hotel is amazing, we didn't try the food.
Bed and room were very comfortable and room service was done every day. It was a lovely stay!

Cons:

No credit card payment, payment only in cash, alipay or wechat.

It was lovely and I highly recommend it!
Pros:

It was a beauitiful place to stay, with a long history. It's owner? Hoast? The person at the front desk was wonderful and exceptionally helpful even arranging a driver for us to get to the river.

Cons:

The room was just a bit colder than I would have liked even with the AC heat on. If you're traveling in spring or summer no worries on that front at all!
