Mémorable
Pros:

Emplacement calme loin de l'agitation de la ville et bien situé car proche du métro.
Le petit déjeuner était copieux et varié.
Le cadre de l'hôtel est magnifique, nous avons fait une belle séance photo en costume chinois.
Les femmes de ménage étaient au petit soin et souriantes.

Cons:

La complexité à pouvoir se faire comprendre car très peu de personnes à la réception parlaient l'anglais.
La piscine non adaptée à des enfants occidentaux voulant un peu s'amuser car règles trop rigides.

Expected a lot more
Pros:

The grounds of this hotel are amazing - great to walk around and get some photos - just like the parks and gardens in Suzhou. Also the metro is just across the road - takes about 1 hour to the centre - but there are restaurants and shopping centres 1 stop away.

Cons:

- The staff weren't very friendly and made a mistake with payment on arrival. They also called me at 1:30am in the morning because they thought there was a problem with my room.

- The breakfast is very disappointing - half of it was empty (we didn't arrive late) and the staff looked fed up and it looked like they hadn't had sufficient training.

- I don't work for Holiday Inn - but we stayed in one a week before - right in the centre of Shanghai, VERY friendly and helpful staff, excellent facilities and at half the price. I recommend there!

Bel hôtel bien qu’éloigné du centre
Pros:

L’hôtel est très beau, comme une impression d’arriver dans un film, il est grand et vaste avec de beaux jardins et éclairé la nuit. Les chambres sont spacieuses et plutôt bien équipées.

Cons:

L’emplacement est éloigné du centre, 30min en taxi et 50 min en métro. La piscine est une piscine municipale, avec énormément d’enfants qui prennent des cours, beaucoup de bruit, de cris et il n’est indiqué nulle part que c’est cette ambiance. Je ne sais pas si toutes ces personnes étaient logées à l’hôtel mais nous sommes loin de l’espace détente dont on a l’habitude dans un hotel.

I wish we could have stayed longer. This hotel is a hidden gem in Shanghai.
Pros:

The property is magical. It’s like going back in time and living in luxury. The breakfast is very good and there’s a large choice.

Cons:

The swimming pool seems to be open to people who aren’t staying in the hotel and doesn’t have a 5* feel to it.

الفندق بحد ذاته جميل جدًا، سواء من ناحية المرافق أو التصميم والديكورات أو الأجواء العامة، وأعتبر الإقامة فيه تجربة مميزة تستحق التجربة.

تصميم الفندق يجمع بشكل جميل بين الطراز الصيني التقليدي واللمسات الحديثة، وهذا يعطيه طابعًا خاصًا ومختلفًا. التفاصيل والديكورات في مختلف أنحاء الفندق جميلة جدًا، والأجواء بشكل عام هادئة ومريحة.

الغرف واسعة جدًا ومساحتها ممتازة، كما أن تصميم الغرفة والديكورات الداخلية جميلة ومريحة.

طاقم العمل متعاون جدًا، وكانت معاملتهم جيدة طوال فترة الإقامة. بشكل عام، الفندق مريح جدًا من ناحية الأجواء والمساحات والتصميم، والاستمتاع بالمكان نفسه يعتبر جزءًا من تجربة الإقامة.

أول نقطة هي الموقع. الفندق يقع في منطقة بعيدة نسبيًا عن المناطق السياحية الرئيسية في شنغهاي وقريب من المطار. لذلك قد يكون خيارًا مناسبًا لمن يريد إقامة مؤقتة بالقرب من المطار، أو لمن تكون وجهته الأساسية شنغهاي ديزني لاند، أو لا يمانع الاعتماد على السيارة للوصول إلى المولات والأماكن الأخرى. أما إذا كان الهدف زيارة المناطق السياحية الرئيسية والتنقل بينها باستمرار، فالموقع يعتبر بعيدًا وغير عملي.

Pros:

Hotel and gardens were beautiful, spacious rooms and bathrooms and comfortable bed! Hotel gym was also spacious with modern equipment.

Cons:

The staff and communication was very poor. The hotel advertises airport shuttle, beware this is not the case, very limited hours that don't align with any flight times, I I had communicated prior to my arrival that i would like their driver to pick me up from the airport and there was no one there when I arrived. Zero English from any of the staff, had to use translate to communicate for basics such as room directions, etc.

Don’t miss out on this experience! 100% worth it.
Pros:

The rooms are very big, well stocked and super quiet plus the staff are incredibly helpful. The breakfast is amazing… so many options and everything tasted great. They really cater to everyone’s preferences. It would be incredibly difficult to dislike this breakfast. I saw a previous comment about not liking it… I bet that individual hates most meals available to them. You can’t go wrong with a full salad bar, full hot breakfast bar, omelettes specially made to your liking, a dessert bar, large juice and coffee,tea selection not to mention tons of fruit and pastries. Literally anything you could possibly want for breakfast regardless of where you come from.

I also couldn’t believe how amazing the airport shuttle was. Very easy to find my driver and he parked literally in the first spot by the exit. Helped with my bags and was super nice. It was very easy to set up through the messaging system on booking.com

I was only able to stay for one night but I’m definitely bringing my family back for a longer stay. This is an experience within itself.

Cons:

I had issues with the price matching system through booking. com they claim I didn’t provide all the correct details but I literally sent them every item on their list (just didn’t highlight each item so it looked them in the face). I’d recommend checking all sites as there were quite a few better deals with the exact same options as what you get through here. Same cancellation etc but significantly cheaper. So you can still enjoy the property…. It’s definitely worth the stay! I can’t say enough great things about this hotel.

Pros:

Das Frühstück war gut, während des check inns hat der Mitarbeiter bei mir aufgehört und zwischendrin 2 Chinesen eingecheckt, ich habe das Hotel wegen des Schwimmbades und des Fitnessstudios gewählt jedoch war am 13.07. beides geschlossen und wurde erst um 12 zu meiner Abreise geöffnet, als ich am Empfang nachfragte wussten die von nichts...alles unorganisiert. ansonsten tolle Lage gutes Frühstück , Flughafentransfer alles ok

siehe oben Schwimmbad und Fitness ohne Ankündigung geschlossen obwohl dies mein Buchungsgrund war!
