The rooms are very big, well stocked and super quiet plus the staff are incredibly helpful. The breakfast is amazing… so many options and everything tasted great. They really cater to everyone’s preferences. It would be incredibly difficult to dislike this breakfast. I saw a previous comment about not liking it… I bet that individual hates most meals available to them. You can’t go wrong with a full salad bar, full hot breakfast bar, omelettes specially made to your liking, a dessert bar, large juice and coffee,tea selection not to mention tons of fruit and pastries. Literally anything you could possibly want for breakfast regardless of where you come from.
I also couldn’t believe how amazing the airport shuttle was. Very easy to find my driver and he parked literally in the first spot by the exit. Helped with my bags and was super nice. It was very easy to set up through the messaging system on booking.com
I was only able to stay for one night but I’m definitely bringing my family back for a longer stay. This is an experience within itself.
I had issues with the price matching system through booking. com they claim I didn’t provide all the correct details but I literally sent them every item on their list (just didn’t highlight each item so it looked them in the face). I’d recommend checking all sites as there were quite a few better deals with the exact same options as what you get through here. Same cancellation etc but significantly cheaper. So you can still enjoy the property…. It’s definitely worth the stay! I can’t say enough great things about this hotel.
Das Frühstück war gut, während des check inns hat der Mitarbeiter bei mir aufgehört und zwischendrin 2 Chinesen eingecheckt, ich habe das Hotel wegen des Schwimmbades und des Fitnessstudios gewählt jedoch war am 13.07. beides geschlossen und wurde erst um 12 zu meiner Abreise geöffnet, als ich am Empfang nachfragte wussten die von nichts...alles unorganisiert. ansonsten tolle Lage gutes Frühstück , Flughafentransfer alles ok

El comedor lo encuentro pequeño por lo grande que es el hotel. Había días que no encontrabas mesas libres a la hora del desayuno.
Posto fantastico in ottima posizione tra centro città e aeroporto. Staff estremamente dinamico disponibile e in grado di offrire un servizio di qualità. L'hotel manager guest Jamie shen ci ha aiutato anche a risolvere un problema con didi. Colazione fantastica. Piscina e zona gioco e relax molto belle.

Our stay at the Royal Garden Hotel Shanghai was nothing short of exceptional! The hotel itself is reminiscent of the old style china architecture but with a modern day twist. Facilities are exceptional. Room was clean and comfortable.
Staff were always helpful and went out of their way to make our stay even more enjoyable. A special call out to Jamie who consistently went out of his way to ensure our stay was pleasant :-).
The daily buffet menu was a nice mix of western and Asian food so was able to cater for all tastes. The indoor heated swimming pool great for a work out (but remember to bring your goggles as very chlorinated!).
Location was very close to the train station (opposite side of the road!) So we were able to commute to all the attractions with no issues. Lasltly, the complimentary airport shuttle to and from the airport was the icing in the cake!
All in all a truly fantastic and memorable stay and will definitely being staying there again next time we are in Shanghai!
