Great quirky hotel well worth a visit
Pros:

The location and quirky nature of the hotel is good. Monday's dinner was good and the wine section was also good.

Cons:

There is no soundproofing between floors, so extremely noisy inhabitants above (about whom the hotel can have little control, other than perhaps to have prominent notices asking people to be considerate of those below them) ruined our final night of rest. The dinner on Wednesday night was also poor.

Charmant séjour au bord du Lac Lémand
Pros:

L'hôtel Masson est une pension emblémaatique de Montreux. L'établissement conseve un charme désuet. Le temps semble s'être arrêté...Les différentes salles et jardins se visitent comme autant de petits musées. Les chambres sont décorées avec soin et sont fonctionnelles. A noter, un petit balcon avec une vue plus ou moins ouverte sur le lac Lémand. A noter, la proximité des lignes de bus qui desservent rapidement le centre ville. La gare est également très proche de l'hôtel...

Cons:

L'isolation phonique laisse à désirer mais je pense qu'il est impossible de remédier à cet inconvénient sans toucher à l'intégrité de ce magnifique bâtiment...

Ein schöner Aufenthalt in einem historischen Hotel mit Charme.
Pros:

Die Lage, das historische Haus, die knarrenden Böden, der friedvolle Garten, das köstliche Frühstück und das freundliche Personal machten für mich den Aufenthalt einzigartig.

Cons:

Etwas ringhörig, aber das lässt sich wahrscheinlich nicht vermeiden.

Really nice to stay in this family run independent hotel. It has lots of history but has the benefit of modern bedding
Pros:

The location was spot on…. staff friendly and welcoming

Cons:

Under staffed - whilst there was a bar on site there was never anyone manning it. We were able to find someone to sort out drinks though apart from one evening.
