Pros:

Super Lage, sehr freundliches und zuvorkommendes Personal. Das Häuschen hat alles was nötig ist, ist aber eher rudimentär gehalten. Dafür ist es sehr gemütlich. Super bequemes Bett!

Cons:

Viele Insekten im Zimmer, zum Glück gibt es ein Mückennetz über dem Bett. Die Türen nach aussen sind abschliessbar, das Schloss aber sehr dürftig. Kein Safe im Häuschen. In der Nacht hört man jedes Tier auf dem Dach, das kann sehr laut werden.

Strandnahe Cabanas mit netten Gastgebern
Pros:

Super freundliches Personal, wir haben uns sehr gut aufgehoben gefühlt. Besonders hat uns gefallen, dass wir so einfach und günstig einen Scooter mieten konnten.

La posizione è comodissima per raggiungere la spiaggia e tutti i ristoranti e il personale è stato molto gentile e disponibile ad aiutarci a noleggiare il motorino, prenotare taxi ect ect

Very close to the beach, just a 5-7 minute walk. Cute little Cabana, which was spacious inside with room for bags, hanging space and a decent sized bathroom. Kettle and tea/coffee provided. Nice sitting area outside with washing line for clothes. Close to shops and restaurants too which was great.

Cons:

Aircon didnt work properly, so we just used the fan. However I found it too hot. I chose this place because it had aircon but it was ineffective. Other than that it was a nice stay.

Diese gemütlichen Häuschen liegen in einer ruhigen Gegend in Uppuveli, nahe am Strand und in unmittelbarer Nähe zu sehr guten Restaurants. Die Terrasse mit Sitzgelegenheit und die Sitzschale am Banyon-Baum haben wir sehr genossen. Es ist sogar ein Trampolin für Kinder vorhanden. Die Gastgeber-Familie ist ausgesprochen nett und jederzeit hilfsbereit. Wir haben aufgrund unseres längeren Aufenthalts (5 Nächte) einmal gratis wundervolles Sri Lanka Frühstück genießen dürfen! Die Holzbauweise der Häuschen ist zwar hellhörig, tatsächlich verwende ich im Urlaub zum Schlafen meistens Ohrstöpsel und deshalb hat mich das nicht gestört.

A safe and welcoming stay with a fantastic host and location, yet rustic facilities
Pros:

The highlight was definitely the people. The owner is genuinely one of the kindest hosts we’ve met—he went out of his way to help us arrange moped rentals and laundry, which made our stay much easier. We also felt very safe and well looked after throughout. The location couldn’t be better: just a quick 3–4 minute walk to Fernando’s and the main beach hangout, so everything is within easy reach.

Cons:

The cabanas are made from fairly simple materials, so the overall feel is very basic rather than anything close to luxury. Our main challenge was the number of mosquitoes inside the hut, and the net provided didn’t offer as much protection as we expected. The bathrooms were rustic and open to the outside, which some may find atmospheric, but in practice made them a bit inconvenient to use.

Overall, this is closer to a very simple, back-to-basics type of accommodation. If you’re looking for comfort or ease, you may find it limiting.

Pros:

Całkiem w porządku łazienka, ganek do siedzenia, miejsce do suszenia mokrych rzeczy. Usługa prania i prasowania była w porządku.

Cons:

Brudna podłoga, średnia łazienka. Naszym tempem 10 minut do plaży - myślałam, że będzie bliżej.

Great basic accommodation.
Pros:

Great location close to the beach but far enough away from the main roads. Unlimited water was a first for us in Sri Lanka and was such a bonus.

Cons:

Very dark inside.
