Shangri-La Karesansui Hotel

Cet hôtel est remarquable : de grandes chambres (nous avons voyagé en famille avec trois enfants de 17, 18, 19 ans), un personnel d'une gentillesse et d'une délicatesse qui va bien au-delà du marketing !
Une chambre de luxe pour les parents et les enfants ont été surclassés dans une sorte de suite qui est un véritable appartement. Tarif très correct pour Shangri-La.
Un petit déjeuner (pas buffet) très copieux et de qualité (plateau ou assiette avec salade, charcuterie, oeufs brouillés, etc ou noodle).
Extrêmement bien placé au calme mais à 5mn à pied de la place centrale où se tiennent des danses quotidiennement en fin de journée.
Et le must : la blanchisserie offerte dans le séjour ce qui n'était pas du luxe dans un voyage de trois semaines....

Todo, la ubicación, el personal sobre todo.Son todo chicas, encantadoras.Tuvieron el detalle de llevar unos vasos de leche caliente por la noche a la habitación de mis hijos.
Y el desayuno es excelente, copioso, y con un café latte perfecto.
Ah, y el suelo radiante, es un placer.

A highly curated “diffused” hotel with very spacious, luminous and extremely well equipped rooms.
From the moment I arrived - fatigued due to the altitude- I felt home.
The owners, a family of 4 brothers and sisters make everything possible to ensure guests have a blast.
Very curated breakfast in a common area that facilitates conversations with other fellow guests.

I have never stayed in a hotel with so much hospitality as this. Truely amazing!! The location was amazing, right in the old town but in a location that was quiet and peaceful. The family running it were so helpful and welcoming.

La ubicación es excelente, en el old town pero en una calle tranquila. Fueron por nosotros a la estación del tren y nos ayudaron a organizar un tour. Las niñas del staff son muy lindas y cariñosas, preparan el desayuno con mucho cariño. Hotel lindo cómodo y limpio.

The hotel is well located, and has a bold design (very contemporary). But don’t be fooled by the cool photos. The actual building is precarious (as I explain below). On the upside, the staff is exceedingly kind, and the breakfasts were incredibly good.

Accueil très sympathique et professionnel. L'hôtel est confortable et bien aménagé. Le petit déjeuner était très bon.

Great location, but quiet. Very welcoming and helpful management and great breakfast. Lovely friendly dog saying hi too

Nice rooftop terrace cafe next door

The staff were attentive and accommodating. They were very patient with our questions and helped us solve for any problems we may have. We had to leave very early the last day to make our train and they packed a breakfast for us to go. I loved my stay here.

Location was very good in the old town and in a quiet area just a short walk from all the shops and restaurants. Breakfast was excellent, best so far compared to Dali and Lijiang. Staff friendly and discreet. Room was spacious and quiet

Pretty much everything was great. The lady at reception (Liu-Liu, and my apologies if that's mis-spelled) was delightful, and so helpful. She organised transport for us, and even paid for it. She gave us a free very late check-out. The breakfast was fantastic (but be aware it's not a buffet). Our room and bed and shower were lovely. We worked out that the toilet sees one approaching, which was fun. The location is perfect: in the old town, but quiet, and a taxi can get within about 20 metres.
