Great stay so much so we have booked again for the same time this year
Nothing to put here
Room was great ..large room comfy bed great bathroom
Hotel too busy and customer service lacking ..sent a request 3 days prior to arrival for late checkout and got no reply ..i mentioned it at check in and the gentleman apoligised and i also got an email of apology which i appreciated but felt a bit let down by the lack of prompt response..also booked a table for dinner but was told no table available in main dining area and was forced to sit in the bar area which really defeated the purpose of booking in advance ..however the most wonderful waiter called dawson saved the day wigh his excellent customer service, chat and kindness
The bed/pillows is the only thing we liked.
The garden room restaurant.
The hotel rang me Thursday to book a time for dinner. We were then told the only table they had for our booking was up at the high side of the bar. Why bother ringing to book in a time if they can’t even keep a table in the restaurant side? To say it was the most overstimulating experience ever is not even an understatement. We asked could we be moved when a table became available but we weren’t. Between the noise from people have drinks watching the rugby, to the glasses clinking off each other behind the bar and the BANGING off cutlery being replaced, we could genuinely not enjoy our food. We had to bring our dessert to our room just to get out of there. This section of the garden rooms should only be kept for those having drinks - NOT for food.
The service of the staff in the garden rooms was very slow. We were waiting ages for our dessert and asked one of the waiters who said he would go and check straight away but we watched him just go behind the bar serving drinks?
Honestly, I really don’t know how this is a 5 star hotel as it’s very basic.

The whole experience was delightful and we hope to visit again in February to celebrate 66 years of marriage
Nothing to comment about
Room and room service
Pool was a bit small and I chose too busy time.
Burger tasted processed. Satisfied customer
At The Garden Bar I ordered the €17.50 cheese plate and was genuinely shocked by what was served: stale bread that had clearly just been toasted to disguise its age, old fermented brown grapes that were soft and unpleasant, and cheese that was hard on the outside and obviously past its best. It wasn’t even lavash bread as described on the menu.
The rest of the meal, as well as breakfast, was similarly poor quality and frankly quite unpleasant— absolutely not what one would expect from a five-star hotel. It could be that it was due to my being there during the midweek and standards might be better on the weekend?
The room also showed signs of neglect. The shower was clogged and overflowing onto the bathroom floor, and the toilet roll holder was loose and half coming off the wall.
The staff themselves were great — friendly and helpful. Unfortunately, the hotel overall feels shabby and tired. I could have overlooked the state of the facilities, but the food was so bad that I won’t be returning and wouldn’t recommend it to others.
The lobby area was very nice.
We waited a long time to get into our room. We were told they would call us when the room was ready but they didn’t. We had to wait in line for 30 min to speak to the front desk to get our room key. We had been told there would be a baby cot in the room but there wasn’t. The room was not clean. The carpet had crumbs, the shower was not clean, and the sink didn’t drain. The breakfast buffet food was cold. There were so many guests staying and they were not well equipped to handle the volume of guests. We were so excited to go swimming but we couldn’t use the pool because there were too many people swimming.
Breakfast was beautiful and the staff were wonderful and extremely helpful.. definitely be returning for another visit ♥️
The bar staff where not helpful at at. The bar food was ordered and within 5 minutes our lunch arrived a curry a sandwich and fish and chips all cold. The food was awful. The pool was over run with families very hard to enjoy
