Bathroom far from ideal. The toilet is positioned far too high I am just short of 6ft tall and it was uncomfortable for me,my wife who is 5ft tall couldn’t touch the floor with her feet whilst using the toilet. I had a shower on the first night and because we had a wet room the bathroom floor was never dry for the rest of our visit.
Absolutely beautiful room. Wonderful wet room.
Immaculately clean. Superb experience throughout. Owners and staff friendly, courteous & professional. Wish we could've stayed longer, next time we will!
Nothing. The Roost was perfect.
Convenient location -short drive off the motorway, easy parking, shops, pubs, eateries all within walking distance.
Clean, neat, tidy. Everything you need is here.
Communication 💯%. 💯% recommended ❣️
I will stay here again. 💃
Nothing to dislike here!
Lovely quirky room, beautifully furnished and decorated.
Didn't have spoons to stir my tea/ coffee.
The pedestrian crossing/ traffic light outside the front was beeping every 5 min during the night.
As a light sleeper this was quite frustrating.
Lovely rooms, very good communication by email.
Nothing
The room was well appointed, attractively decorated and clean. The bed was comfortable
And the welcome.basket was well stocked.
The room was very warm and if the window was left open the road was extremely noisy.
There was a fan in the room but I wasn't happy to leave it on all night
The room was very clean , nice modern furnishings and good amount of towels and tea, coffee and milk sachets.
There was a pretty high tech fan in the room which was a great addition and very welcome in the humid weather.
There is a restaurant attached underneath the rooms which looked great , it would have been lovely if breakfast was an option.
Because of the busy restaurant , the noise really carried to the rooms , I could clearly here the restaurant staff cleaning cutlery and chatting loudly well after 11.00pm.
Lots of banging and clanging.
I wasn't too bothered about it but if you had small children it may be an issue.
The quality of the room, food available from close by. Close to M5
Location great booked again for September
Easy check in process and free car park available behind the hotel. You get coffee, tea, mugs and biscuits in the room. WiFi was good!
As soon as I got into the room the strong intense smell of chlorine was unbearable. I didn’t use the bathroom which is where the smell came from only to brush my teeth in the morning and kept the door closed as I couldn’t breathe properly in there! The bathroom was also covered in mold, and shower curtain was dirty. The bedding was also stained and felt like it hadn’t even been changed. The fan in the room has thick dust on it. The walls are covered in stains and dirt. I was in the room for less than 12 hours so just got in and got out as I was travelling early for work the next day but will never stay again.
The property was easy to find with free parking behind. The access instructions were very clear, and the room was tastefully decorated, clean with all facilities.
Relaxing
The kettle boiled quickly.
Room was small; there wasn't even a chair so if you don't like sitting up in bed, which I don't, you're in trouble. Wetroom doesn't drain properly, I had a shower at 8.30pm and floor was still too wet to get into room without getting your feet wet all over again three hours later. They then asked me to leave a review... but not to do so if it was going to be a negative one. Which kind of made my mind up.
