Pros:

Het ontbijt was basic, maar wel lekker.

Cons:

De hygiëne van de kamers viel tegen.
Er liepen overal mieren in de badkamer en het water werd ook niet warm, eerder lauw.

The beach is a hop, skip and jump away. Makes up for a cramped room.
Pros:

Breakfast was great, with Lakshitha making fried eggs with toast and lots of fresh fruit with tea. Very cheerful boy, always ready with a smile. The owner also was very pleasant,and seemed to be keen on improving his property with little upgrades, so nice to see.

Cons:

Roomsare very small, with barely any space to walk around the bed. Cramped space. No window so it felt claustrophobic.

Pros:

De gastheer was erg vriendelijk, was ieder moment bereid om te helpen. Zo hielp hij ons meteen met meerdere excursies boeken. Lekker ontbijt met iedere ochtend nog een extra sapje/stuk fruit.

We enjoyed our stay at Ceylon Beach Haven
Pros:

It was close to the beach and walking distance to restaurants, beach and shops. As we were there during off peak season, it is hard to give a full review. The young fellow looking after the place and us was very kind and helpful.

Cons:

Would suit backpackers more I feel as it is cosy and a good place to meet people.

Gastfreundschaft, Lage & UNO-Abende – top!
Pros:

Ursprünglich hatten wir nur eine Nacht auf unserer Rundreise gebucht – doch dank der herzlichen Betreuung durch Inexshan und den angenehmen Gesprächen vor Ort haben wir spontan um zwei weitere Nächte verlängert. Auch die Lage der Unterkunft hat uns überzeugt.

Unsere Freunde, die wir während der Rundreise kennengelernt haben, waren ebenfalls begeistert von unserer Empfehlung und haben sich direkt dort eingebucht.

Das Frühstück war sehr lecker – besonders der Kaffee war ein Highlight!
Wir haben uns rundum wohlgefühlt und können die Unterkunft uneingeschränkt weiterempfehlen.

Besonders in Erinnerung bleiben uns auch die netten UNO-Abende – Inexshan hat das Spiel mit viel Freude gelernt, und wir haben gemeinsam schöne Stunden verbracht.

I choose this place because want to be close to seaside ⛱️.

It's a basic room with no particular atmosphere, and the breakfast was average. There are definitely better places to stay than this. The staff member was quite friendly, although he did not speak English.
