Dream like property and people
Pros:

The service was incredible. They were very communicative and helpful. The property is gorgeous and the location is within walking/biking distance to excellent restaurants, clubs and shops

Cons:

We had a private pool on the rooftop and it was amazing but the common area pool was dead and underwhelming. At the time of our stay there was so much seaweed on the beach it made the beach front property inaccessible

A slice of heaven! A beautifully designed, heart-centered hotel in a perfect location.

A true slice of heaven! Sana Tulum is one of the best hotels I’ve ever stayed in. Every part of the experience felt thoughtful, memorable, and deeply special. From the very first touchpoint with the concierge before we arrived, and throughout our stay, the staff was consistently kind, attentive, and genuinely caring.

The hotel itself is a masterpiece of architectural design. The food, the comfort, the music, and the intentional layout of the rooms, dining spaces, rooftop, and especially the beachside outdoor sitting and dancing area—all of it felt beautifully curated. The location was also incredible: on a beautiful, safe street with amazing restaurants and charming boutique shops just a short walk away.

What a gift. Thank you so much. We will absolutely be back!

The rooms were exceptional—spacious, beautifully curated, and supremely comfortable, with natural materials, artisanal details, and high-quality finishes. Everything was immaculate and thoughtfully designed, creating a sense of intimacy, authenticity, and refined boutique luxury.

Another wonderful aspect is the friendly, open atmosphere of Tulum South Beach. It’s incredibly easy to meet people here—whether during beach walks, at nearby cafés, or over sunset cocktails—which adds a warm and social dimension to the otherwise tranquil experience.
The staff were warm, professional, and genuinely attentive, adding to the sense of personalized boutique hospitality. A special mention goes to the manager, Sonja, who was truly exceptional—kind, attentive, and highly professional, ensuring a seamless and welcoming experience throughout the stay.

Original hotel, with perfect beachfront setting
Pros:

The Sana hotel is different to any other hotel you'll find in Tulum beach. The setting is stunning and the rooms very comfortable with any amenities you could want. The food is great for a casual lunch, and the beach front sunbeds incredible.

Cons:

The only minor issue we had was the check in experience, the front desk was obviously overwhelmed and you felt like you were inconveniencing them.

Also, be warned - you need to expect to be surrounded by people taking content for their instagram 24/7!

Die Mitarbeitenden waren äusserst freundlich und reagierten stets sehr schnell – top Dienstleistung!
Das Essen war hervorragend, besonders empfehlenswert sind die Pilz-Gnocchi.

Das gesamte Hotel ist harmonisch, liebevoll und geschmackvoll eingerichtet. Die Zimmer sind sehr sauber, und die Betten bieten einen ausgezeichneten Schlafkomfort.
Die Lage ist spektakulär!
