Very nice, high quality hotel. Deluxe King Room was amazing. Location for visiting Washington is great.
Breakfast quality - although not bad - could be better for such a high standard hotel and price.
I would prefer a good buffet, and having to pay extra for certain things is not ideal if breakfast is included.
Clean an comfortable. Staff very helpful. The grab and go cafeteria very useful
There was a surcharge taken off that I do not know what it is for I have not received an invoice
Tout est sur la coche
Great customer service
NA
We stayed at Arlo Washington for 3 nights and overall had a good experience with the hotel itself. The rooms were clean, well-maintained, and surprisingly spacious, which made our stay comfortable.
However, our breakfast experience at the hotel restaurant on my husband’s birthday was very disappointing and left a sour note. The service we received was unprofessional and unwelcoming. The waitress serving us came across as rude and dismissive. She placed the bill on our table and walked away before we had a chance to say anything—we had intended to request that it be charged to our room.
We waited for around 20 minutes, but she did not return. Assuming we should settle the bill ourselves, we walked toward the counter with it in hand. At that point, she noticed us and reacted as though we were trying to leave without paying, which was quite uncomfortable and surprising.
We attempted to explain the situation, but the interaction remained unpleasant. She continued muttering under her breath and eventually remarked that “it was not cool,” which felt unnecessary and unprofessional.
It was especially disappointing given that we were celebrating a special occasion. We don’t know the staff member’s name, but this should be easy to identify from the bill.
While the hotel itself is great, this experience significantly impacted our overall impression. Better service and basic courtesy would go a long way.
The location is great! Near to restaurant and access to tourist spot. The overall clealiness is excellent. Amenities inside the hotel room are all new and the painting of the room is relaxing.
