Melur Inn @ The Highlands, derived from the flower: Jasmine is a brand new town-hotel located in the heart of Tanah Rata, Cameron Highlands. The concept of this hotel was inspired by the highlands which is well-known for it’s variety of flora and fauna. This hotel aims to provide it’s guests with a country feel in the city with its elegant rooms.

Dated and somewhat unclean, but well-located base.
Pros:

The Cameron Highlands is such a fantastic area to visit, and the Melur Inn is excellently placed for exploration — right in the centre of Tanah Rata.

Cons:

Sadly, our room had a few issues: wipeable mould on the walls, a cracked sink, misc hair in the shower plug hole and on the bedding, an unhoovered floor, towels that smelled like hot food. And despite the no-smoking signs, we experienced strong smells of cigarette smoke from the neighbouring room — plus lots of noise.

Wir würden dort auf keinen Fall nochmal hingehen.
Pros:

Frühstück war ok und Personal freundlich. Lage zentral - nähe Busbahnhof, vielen Restaurants und Läden.

Cons:

Das erste Zimmer lag im 1. Stock und die Fenstergriffe sowohl im Bad als auch Schlafraum waren abgebrochen, sodass man die Fenster nicht verriegeln konnte (Zimmer hatte auch keinen Safe, um Sachen wenigstens sicher zu verwahren). Zudem Bett nicht sauber und Schimmel an der Wand).
Auf Wunsch konnten wir das Zimmer wechseln und haven eines im 3. Stock bekommen. Fenster konnten verriegelt werden (wenn auch da Griffe zum Teil schon abgebrochen waren). In diesem Zimmer tropfte aber ständig neben der Toilette dieser Wasserschlauch (schon als wir das Zimmer bekommen haben), sodass der Boden um die Toilette immer nass war. Die Dusche war ohne Abgrenzung zum Rest des Badezimmers und der Abfluss funktioniere nur sehr eingeschränkt, sodass man beim Duschen echt Wasser sparen musste um nicht das ganze Badezimmer unter Wasser zu setzen. Duschanatur zudem nur lose in der Wand - Vorsicht. Kein Fön. Straßenlärm - auf oberen Etagen erträglicher als unten.

Saluran keluar air di bilik air agak slow turun sbb sy perasan ade rambut kt dlm lubang keluar air..dah complain kt counter tapi respond agak slow utk hantar mentenance utk betulkan..sampai ke sudah tak betul..and then ade customer foreigner yg tegur sy sebab budak2 bising..nak suruh ank2 sy yg umur 4 tahun dan 8 tahun untuk diam mmg tak boleh la citer nye..dah nama budak2 nk ckp cmne saya pon bayar juga utk hotel ni..tapi tak tahu lah kalau hotel ni tak mesra budak2..

Pros:

Okay sebab pakej sekali dgn breakfast. Senang bg mak2 bwk anak kecik tak kecah nk kene bawak sana sini setempaf je.

Cons:

parking kene cari sendiri. Kalau ada anak kecik kene consider semula. Nak bawak barang, stroller lagi, anak lagi.
