Guests with a valid Malaysian Identity Card or valid permanent residents MY PR Card are exempted. Currently, we accept only Vaccinated guests into our property.

Melur Inn @ The Highlands, derived from the flower: Jasmine is a brand new town-hotel located in the heart of Tanah Rata, Cameron Highlands. The concept of this hotel was inspired by the highlands which is well-known for it’s variety of flora and fauna. This hotel aims to provide it’s guests with a country feel in the city with its elegant rooms.

Pros:

Great location for Tana rata, but all the attractions we went are in Brincheng.

Cons:

There was renovation going on, very loud all day.

The hotel is beside the street. Quite noisy, but we chose window room. They have room without window too.

The window view is really nice.

The two male staffs we met are really nice, just that made up for all the short comings.

Pros:

De locatie ligt midden in het stadje, vlakbij het busstation alle voorzieningen, restaurantjes, etc. Wij hadden een mooi grote kamer aan de voorzijde met klein balkonnetje. Het verkeer is wel erg dichtbij en geluid niet altijd prettig.

Cons:

Hou er rekening mee dat kamer aan voorzijde wel wat verkeersgeluid met zich meebrengt.

Dated and somewhat unclean, but well-located base.
Pros:

The Cameron Highlands is such a fantastic area to visit, and the Melur Inn is excellently placed for exploration — right in the centre of Tanah Rata.

Cons:

Sadly, our room had a few issues: wipeable mould on the walls, a cracked sink, misc hair in the shower plug hole and on the bedding, an unhoovered floor, towels that smelled like hot food. And despite the no-smoking signs, we experienced strong smells of cigarette smoke from the neighbouring room — plus lots of noise.
