Fantastic place but please make sure when you book there will be no construction.
Pros:

Stella Mar and the owner Cory are absolutely the best. Location on the beach is perfect
with outdoor communal kitchen and living room area. We loved it. Stella the cat is lovely.

Cons:

But during our week stay there was a construction crew of 2 men almost daily in the communal spaces and the room next door to us that really disrupted and tarnished our stay, thus affecting our rating.

Fantastisch en heerlijk!
Pros:

De kamer, het uitzicht en de ligging is perfect. Er hangt een hele fijne sfeer. Super fijn dat voor alle ramen horren zitten. De zeebries die je voelt. Het balkon met het super mooie uitzicht op zee en de zonsondergang. Gebruik van goede gemeenschappelijke keuken. Lekker bed en douche. Deze plek was precies wat ik hoopte. Nog mooier dan op de foto’s. Je loopt zo het strand op en de zee in. Corey is heel behulpzaam en vriendelijk. Er zitten veel gezellige en lekkere tentjes in de buurt voor ontbijt, lunch en diner of gewoon een koffietje. ‘s avonds is het stil en veilig. Ik zou er zo weer naartoe gaan!

Pros:

The location is absolutely impeccable. It’s clean, it’s boutique and there are surprisingly very little
Bugs. My patio right on the ocean was unbeatable!

Although you’re walking distance to a bunch of restaurants and cafes, the shared kitchen is fully equipped and organized.

Shoutout to Corey!!

The owner is super friendly and goes out of his way to help his guests out. I noticed this boutique hotel attracts a special clientele.

Pros:

Incredible view, location was excellent and felt very safe. And friendly staff. Also the kitchen is a great idea although I didn’t get to use it.

Cons:

My only complaint is how hot it got in the room and no a/c for what it costs.

Lovely stay at amazing location!
Pros:

We absolutely loved staying at Corey’s place! The location is perfect—right on the beach. We could borrow surfboards in the morning and take a short walk down to the reef, which meant beautiful sunrise surf sessions. Super smooth and convenient.

There are plenty of great restaurants and cafés nearby, and I’d say this part of the beach is exactly where you want to stay if you’re traveling to Popoyo. Corey was incredibly helpful and shared lots of great tips.

The kitchen is well-equipped if you need it, although we mostly ate out since there were so many tempting options around. The room was clean and fresh, with a beautiful balcony and stunning ocean views. Just a few steps down to a morning swim.

Highly recommended!
