Pros:

Seguridad, limpieza, cocina equipada, Internet, tablas de surf para renta, vista desde el balcón, excelente servicio por parte de todos sus empleados. Te hacen sentir como si estuvieras en casa.
Puedes practicar surfing en más de 10 playas, solo caminando.

Great stay at Stella Mar, Andrew made the experience for us.
Pros:

We had a great stay, the views of the ocean from the bedroom is amazing and the open area downstairs that looks onto the beach is great. The kitchen has everything you could need and most of all the friendly cleaners, night guard and Andrew made the stay so amazing. Andrew was such a lovely person who went over and above to accommodate us giving us lots of recommendations and a friendly face that we loved having around. Appreciated being able to stay in the area well after check out and use the kitchen until we needed to go.

Cons:

We cannot fault anything, it was also great having 3 fans to use in the room (if you pick non AC)

Beautiful… I wish we could have stayed longer.
Pros:

Host was very informative and provided lot of guidance on places to see and places to eat. Location of the property right on the ocean is awesome.

Cons:

Power cuts on the first day was a bit uncomfortable. Nice wind helped a bit.

Pros:

I had a great stay. Beautifully located right at the beach. Comfortable beds and very clean. Filtered water available in the kitchen. Very close to plenty of great restaurants and cafes. The manager, Andrew, was a great host.

Cons:

I booked a room without AC knowingly because it was more affordable, so this is not a criticism of the hotel, which was very clear about this when booking. However, I personally found the nights hotter than expected, and if you are sensitive to heat, the AC upgrade may be worth considering.

Stella Mar is a great getaway, I had the best sleep I’ve ever had there. #Popoyolife

I have to say that Andrew the property manager was fantastic and went above and beyond with his service and attention to detail.
I look forward to my return in September..

Pros:

Eine wunderschöne Unterkunft! Tolle Lage mit mega Ausblick, zudem wirklich sehr freundliches und zuvorkommend Personal! Wir haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt.

Cons:

Wir empfinden den Preis für die Zimmer ohne Klimaanlage als etwas zu hoch aber der Ausblick hat auch einen gewissen Preis verdient.

An amazing stay for me and my son, on a surf trip together. The location did not disappoint.
Pros:

It’s right on the beach on a quiet street off the beaten path. Very convenient access to surfing spots a short walk to the local market and surf shop. We stayed in a suit with a kitchen which added extra privacy. The staff were extremely friendly and accommodating.

Cons:

Parking is a bit limited for those who might rent a car. If we were to do it again I would not rent a car and use their suggested taxi service.

Pros:

Great location! Was only a 5min walk to Popoyo Reef. Also has a minimarket and restaurants close by. The room itself is simple but beautiful, with a terrace with great views of the ocean. Hope to come back soon!
