Cons:

The property is located far from Ella city center, with no nearby access to delivery services or markets, which makes basic convenience quite limited.

In addition, the kitchen is positioned very close to the guest rooms, resulting in cooking smells spreading into the accommodation area. There were also issues with insects in the room, including cockroaches. Privacy was another concern, as noise from outside conversations and laughter could be clearly heard inside the rooms.

The Wi-Fi connection was extremely poor and unreliable, making it impossible to stream or comfortably watch movies during the stay.

Service delays were also experienced, with food taking approximately 1 hour and 15 minutes to arrive. Due to the long wait, one dish had to be cancelled. The staff did try to apologize and were responsive, even coming to the room to address the insect issue.

While the manager and receptionist were kind and professional, the compensation offered by the owner was limited to a $10 discount for the poor internet experience, which felt insufficient given the overall issues encountered.

Highly recommended for all of the visitors in the world.

Very good Clean and really best staff (specially I have to appreciate and thank MR. Sharvin he is a very professional and perfect management member of the staff). Thansk a lot for everything.

The perfect getaway at Bandarawela
Pros:

Had an absolutely amazing experience at the place. Visited with a bunch of friends for a few nights.
The rooms were so well kept and really comfortable. AC and hot water were perfect.
The pool was maintained well and food was superb.
The best of all to be honest though was the staff. All members were really friendly and always looked to help out whenever they can.
All in all, made our visit to Bandarawela absolutely amazing. Keep it up team.

Pros:

I recently stayed at Luxor Hotel and had a really pleasant experience overall. The service was especially noteworthy—Shirvin, Adithya, and Isuru were incredibly helpful, friendly, and attentive throughout my stay. They made sure everything was smooth and comfortable, always going the extra mile with a smile.The hotel itself was clean, well-maintained, and offered a good overall atmosphere. While there may be small areas for improvement, the excellent service truly stood out and made my visit enjoyable.

Overall, a good experience and I would definitely consider staying here again!

A luxurious hotel with amazing morning view

Clean, fresh and luxury.

Cons:

Noise, as it was close to the main road, it was but noisy throughout the day and early morning. It is also kirindi Ella not Ella, we were bit oblivious during booking and mistakenly booked this instead of Ella. Besides, there are no nearby shops or restaurants except the hotel dine-in. But Bandarawela town is just 15-20 minutes and you can explore nice food shops there. The TV is not a smart TV so you can only watch local channels or discovery. No Netflix!

Excellent Stay with Stunning Views and Great Hospitality
Pros:

We had a wonderful stay at Luxor Kirindi Ella. The location is excellent and offers great value for money. Our room was very comfortable, and the views were absolutely stunning, we were amazed by the beautiful scenery.

We also visited Aura Spa and enjoyed some excellent massages. Both dinner and breakfast at the restaurant were delicious. The staff were very friendly, helpful, and made our stay even more enjoyable. Highly recommended.

Great Value Stay

A very good value for money stay. Slightly away from Ella town, but reachable within 30 minutes if you have transport. The staff are extremely helpful and go out of their way to make your stay memorable. Highly recommended.
