Terrible Experience – Misleading Listing and Unsafe Stay!

We initially booked Sunbliss Cottage by the Sea through an online platform, but upon arrival, we discovered that the actual property was called Tvessa Residency—a completely different name from what was listed. When we called the number provided, we were told their “location is different than what’s shown on Google.” It quickly became clear that they have listed the same property under two or three different names, which is incredibly misleading and feels like an intentional attempt to confuse and defraud guests.

When we finally arrived, the rooms were in a terrible condition—stinky, musty, and poorly maintained. We were already disappointed, but the worst was yet to come.

The next morning, while I was freshening up, the ceiling suddenly collapsed. I was lucky to escape without injury, but the shock was real. What was meant to be a relaxing vacation with my girlfriend turned into a stressful, mentally disturbing experience.

We reached out to the owner, Neha, to inform her about the dangerous situation. Shockingly, she didn’t even acknowledge the seriousness of the incident and instead began to gaslight us, downplaying everything.

Adding to this, their team kept insisting on advance payments for every little thing, even though their property management is disorganized and extremely poor.

This place is unsafe, unprofessional, and run by people who clearly don’t value guest safety or honesty. Please think twice before booking here. Don’t fall for the fake names and photos—they don’t match the reality.

Mosquitoes big problem in Goa

Sadly the pictures and all 5 star reviews are very misleading. This place may have at one time, 20 years ago looked like what they show. The rooms are really bad with black mold and staining all over the walls and in the bathroom. The railings are rusted completely through on the balcony. This has to be one of if not the worst hotel we have seen and we have traveled all over the world staying in hostels, Airbnb, cheap and nicer hotels. We don’t need fancy but do want clean and what we thought we were booking. Note that most of the 5 star reviews are all from the same date. That alone should have alerted us to potential scam, but didn't see that until after we were there.

Fridge not working, swimming pool wasn't cleaned
