Highly recommend
Pros:

I had the best time at lobster bay, it was highly relaxing with the best view you could possibly imagine. The staff was phenomenal, Joe, arif, everyone else who’s name I don’t remember off the top of my head, some of the best staff you could possibly find. The food was great! I really enjoyed all of my meals, recommend the rendang, the veggies and anything off the grill. Those sunsets were incredible and so was the villa. Thank you for having me.

Cons:

It’s a little isolated, so if you come here, come to relax, to disconnect.

A Stunning Stay in an Untouched Paradise
Pros:

For years, my wife, my daughter and I have been travelling around Southeast Asia, always looking for that elusive sweet spot: pristine landscapes, a great climate, unspoiled nature, and just enough tourism to make things comfortable without the place having already been conquered by spiritually enlightened Instagram kings and queens.

The south of Lombok — and Lobster Bay and its surroundings in particular — absolutely hits the nail on the head.

Our host, Andrew, was quite simply one of the most generous and welcoming hosts you could wish for. He has created something truly magical here. The moment you arrive, the view is beyond stunning. It is the kind of scenery people travel halfway around the world — often to vastly overrated places — hoping to find, only to end up disappointed. Here, you simply stand there and see this magnificent landscape in its full glory. This is the “money shot”.

In Europe, views and locations like this are usually inaccessible to normies. They are hidden behind private gates and reserved for the ultra-rich, celebrities and ridiculously exclusive hotels. Here, you get to experience exactly that without any of the pretentiousness that normally comes with it.

We stayed in one of the pool villas, and the accommodation absolutely lives up to the setting. The villa enjoys the same spectacular panoramic views as the restaurant and main areas of the resort. Conceptually, it is beautifully done: lots of wood, stylish and understated decoration, a fantastic private pool and a wonderful sense of privacy. Everything feels thoughtfully designed, very well equipped and genuinely luxurious without being flashy or overdone. Sitting at your own pool looking out across that landscape is something very difficult to beat.

What makes the place particularly special, however, is the people.

Great stay at Lobster Bay
Pros:

Beautiful views, kind and welcoming staff, good food and comfortable / luxurious accommodation. A great place to stay if you are looking to treat yourself. The staff were also helpful with helping us with laundry service and bringing food to our villa.

Cons:

The resort is in a remote location so it is necessary to order taxis to get around. Having said this, the drivers were incredibly helpful, talking us on trips and waiting for us to bring us back.

Pros:

Alles! Die Villa ist unglaublich schön eingerichtet und super sauber. Durch die große Glasfront kann man sogar aus dem Bett in die Bucht blicken. Die Terrasse hat viel Platz und das Sunbed ist sehr gemütlich für zwei Personen. Der Pool ist erfrischend und sauber. Das gesamte Team von Lobster Bay ist so freundlich und zuvorkommend und wir haben jeden Abend im Restaurant gegessen oder den Zimmerservice genossen. Für uns waren es perfekte Tage mit viel Ruhe in einer unglaublichen Unterkunft. Wir können Lobster Bay nur empfehlen!

Beautiful views from our hill house 🏠
Pros:

Beautiful house on top of the hill with a spectacular view. Very friendly people, especially the manager did everything he could to give us the best time. Nice restaurant with some nice vegetarian food.
Comfy beds.

Cons:

It’s quite far from Kuta. A 25 minute drive by motorbike. You definitely need one of those.
I found the bathroom very basic for this price range. It felt outdated and not very clean just because of the looks.

Ein rundum gelungener Aufenthalt mit traumhafter Aussicht, sehr gutem Essen und außergewöhnlich freundlichem Personal
Pros:

Wir waren wirklich sehr zufrieden mit unserem Aufenthalt. Die Unterkunft ist sehr schön und die Aussicht einfach wunderschön. Besonders überrascht hat uns das Essen, weil wir ehrlich gesagt nicht mit so einer guten Qualität gerechnet hatten. Es hat uns jeden Tag sehr gut geschmeckt.

Das gesamte Personal war unglaublich freundlich und hilfsbereit. Besonders bedanken möchten wir uns bei Arif und Joe Die beiden haben unseren Aufenthalt wirklich angenehmer gemacht, waren immer höflich, respektvoll und haben sich bei jeder Frage oder jedem Wunsch Zeit für uns genommen.

Ich hatte während unseres Aufenthalts außerdem den Schlüssel von meinem Motorroller verloren. Obwohl der Schlüssel am Ende zum Glück wiedergefunden wurde, hat das Personal sofort versucht, mir zu helfen und sich wirklich darum gekümmert. Das haben wir sehr geschätzt.

Alles in allem hatten wir eine richtig schöne Zeit und würden jederzeit wiederkommen. Wer eine Unterkunft mit einer tollen Aussicht, leckerem Essen und einem super freundlichen Team sucht, ist hier genau richtig.

Wat een mooi uitzicht. En de verzorging was super. Prachtige villa rustig gelegen tegen een heuvel met prive zwembad . De bediening in het restaurant super gasten. Een aanrader voor wie verwend wil worden op Lombok.
