Awesome Experience
Location
Room size and facilities, food quality
Located at a very serene place overlooking the hills. Nice view from the balcony.
The room was smelly. Set top box did not work. Only one bottle of water for a family of three. No dressing table/ looking mirror in the room. No luggage rack. Very few toiletries. The cupboard was not clean and creaky. No meals included for 7800 per day price. A lot can be done from hospitality side.
There was nothing to like in the property.
I had booked a room for 3 as I was holidaying with my parents. But this room was too small even for a solo traveller let alone for 3 people. The food was below par, there were no proper heater facilities, no power most of the time, absolutely terrible stay as the staff was also not interested. Thank God that it was only a night stay and not a longer stay. I would only recommend this place if it's a life and death situation otherwise I would strongly recommend not to visit this Hotel.
Was convenient as I had to stay over at Sonamarg not by choice but due to Road to Kargil being One Way on that day and couldn't travel to Kargil and stay at the hotel we had booked at Kargil
The room was with multi colored walls and there were 3 beds although we booked twin bed and that made it uncomfortable as there was no room to move around. Balcony that overlooked the hills was dirty and overlooked dirty area of other properties. Cleanliness of the sheets was to be questioned too.
Bed and room
WiFi and food
Staff was very helpful. First day we were late for the breakfast, however one of the staff members arranged us the breakfast in our room.
Very good location.
Location and the view from the balcony was good. Food was also good.
Some of the staffs were rude. However we managed with the good staffs.
I didn’t stay at the property even after paying 14000 because bed sheet, pillow covers, bathrooms and rooms was not clean. On website it showing four star rating but in actually it’s not more than 2 star hotel.
Booking.com misleading clients with false rating.
Not happy at all:-(
The view from the Balcony was mind-boggling. Could see Switzerland right in Indian at 1/3 of the cost. Very courteous people. Made us even more comfortable by providing a room-heater, without our asking.
The location, the snow-clad mountain view, the food, specially Kehwa. the staff...Musa Bhai. a mini-shop of Kashmiri garments right inside the hotel.
View from 101 balcony, location, staff were happy to assist you.
Food was ok
No heating in the room. You had to ask for a portable heater. The heater did not conduct enough heat to warm the room.
WiFi was pathetic. It continuously dropped out, speeds between 1 and 7mbps .
I tried the managers 5g mobile hotspot, but as the manager moved around the hotel, you lost connectivity or dropped to unacceptable speed.
Tv cable channels were not working
Awesome service and food
Nothing
I didn’t like the constant pressure from the manager Mose to buy things from his shop, the elevated prices he charged for a snow scooter, the elevated taxi prices, the poor internet.
