The location is good if you arrive at the train station, city center and bazaars are a 15 minute walk away, and it was always easy to find an auto-rickshaw just outside.
The staff was cordial enough, although they were unwilling to give any support, referring to an external travel agent for any enquiry.

The location is a 20 minute walk from the train station & there are lots of food options close by. The staff were friendly & polite.
The bathroom (room 205) smelled of drains as there was a drainage system below and a fan in the window that let air in. Turning the bathroom fan off helped. Breakfast was not ready at 7:30am as stated, more like 8:00am.
Staff very helpful. The bar and outdoor terrace on the top floor were wonderful and the food was delicious and excellent value

The staff were friendly, polite and helpful- particularly the young man who served our breakfast each morning - excellent!
Our room was spacious, well equipped and clean. The communal areas of the hotel were well cared for and inviting.
The location of the hotel worked really well for us and provided a great base for our stay.
Breakfast selection was excellent. The food was well cooked and served and very tasty. We ate at the restaurant each night and again the food was delicious! We highly recommend this hotel, we had an excellent stay!
Our only issue was the soundproofing on the corridors. This is an issue in hotels the world over and not unique to the Alwar Royals.
